Ok, so this is my first. I would ask my mother these things, but she never had "normal" pregnancies, and well, we don't talk a whole lot anyway.

So a few questions:

Can you feel yourself start to dialate?

Is it normal for the queasies to come back?

And can exhaustion just hit you from no where? I mean, I was sitting on the couch making out a grocery list when I just felt like I had to go lie down.

Does the baby sometimes bounce into your pelvis and then back out? I thought I had felt Dainyah do that twice yesterday and once this morning. Like she decided to try it out down there and then came right back out. Caused a ton of pressure on my bladder, so I had to run to the bathroom quickly. Almost like a torpedo going in and backfiring, I guess. But I am sure she hasn't dropped yet, breathing is not any eaisier, and my stomach hasn't changed.

Right now, I feel randomly achy, queasy and just icky. I also feel like the muscles between my hips are wanting to sag. Could this be a sign of her dropping? If so, this might be a little early. I don't know. All the preggo books and stuff that I have read don't really address any of this (but then, few have mentioned the vision changes that the hormones can cause and other fun side effects of pregnancy)

Thanks. I think I may be being paranoid. I hope so.

Can you feel yourself start to dialate? I am not sure. I don't remember feeling that last time.

Is it normal for the queasies to come back? Apparently it is normal to have diarrheoa around the time you are going to go into labour. So queasiness could be a sign. I do get queasy though if I haven't eaten in a while. So you might just be extra hungry? I've noticed I've been more hungry lately. I don't even make it from breakfast to lunch. I had diarrheoa at about 39 1/2 weeks with Abby but never went into labour. So it was probably just a coincidence. I went two weeks overdue

And can exhaustion just hit you from no where? I mean, I was sitting on the couch making out a grocery list when I just felt like I had to go lie down. Yes! And if you overexert (sp?) yourself. It just hits you. I fall asleep on the couch sometimes. I've been way more tired lately too.

I think I know what you mean. I have had this too. And when I cough it feels like her head is bumping on my cervix.

I feel saggy down there too. I feel like she is just going to drop out. And it hurts a lot when I bend over. I basically can't do that now... not unless I have my legs apart ... like if I squat.

Thanks Renee. I know those were odd questions. I have always been able to feel myself ovulate, and I know when I open up for the monthly flow. I have just over five weeks until my due date, so you can see that I am just being a little paranoid. But then, what is normal for one person isn't for another.

I had heard someplace that morning sickness can come back about a month or so before the baby is due. I hate the thought of that. I would kill for diareah at this point. I haven't been as stopped up as I was earlier this pregnancy, but still, it would be nice to be cleaned out.

I know not to over exert myself. I've been there and done that. Also have overheated. Not sure which was worse.....coming close to passing out in line at Wal-Mart, or aching so bad when I crawled into bed after too much housework.

I need to run to the grocery store in a few minutes. I wanted to wait until it was cooler outside to do it. I wish it were winter. Maybe we can time the next one for a spring birth so I won't be in the third tri in the middle of summer.

Can you feel yourself start to dialate?

No, I don't think that I felt the dilation happening. I did notice much heavier discharge, which was a sign that my cervix was effacing. And the midwife confirmed that it was 75% effaced.

Is it normal for the queasies to come back?

I haven't had it come back, but then I never did have a lot of morning sickness throughout the pregnancy. I have heard of morning sickness coming back though.

And can exhaustion just hit you from no where? YES! The other day, I felt like lying down and not moving.

Does the baby sometimes bounce into your pelvis and then back out? Um, I really don't know what mine did. All I know is that he/she is WAY down there. :)

Thanks. I think I may be being paranoid. I hope so.

Don't worry, being paranoid in pregnancy is quite normal. Today, I just about cried on the phone when talking to my midwife. I had to remind myself that she's dealt with over a thousand mothers over 20+ years so she's probably seen and heard it all anyway.

I wish it was Spring or Summer! Ok maybe not Summer LOL But it is freezing here and it's 1:36pm  And Winter is almost over. So why is it soooo cold still?! I can't get motivated to do anything because I feel chilly.

Yes, it's normal to feel queasy again! You can have your baby drop and move up and down slightly too as you progress closer to due date....my hips and pelvis all of the sudden felt at my knees and so achy I couldn't stand it the week before I delivered...I delivered at 35 weeks. I didn't know that was what I was feeling until I went for my normal OB and I was dialated to 5 and 100% effaced and I hadn't even noticed braxten hicks contractions or anything....just the extreme pelvic achiness and like it was at my knees....Oh yes, you can all of the sudden be reading and have to lay down and sleep from nowhere (sleep while you can! LOL)

Yes it is normal to feel queezy, I know I do off and on and it's unpleasant, like having another round of morning sickness again.

Yes the baby will move in and out of your pelvis and sometimes it burns or it feels quite abrupt or rough.

I don't remember feeling the baby "drop" I think it just happens but other people may say otherwise.

It will suddenly attack your bladder too

If you are worried you should see your midwife because sometimes constant upper tummy pain or other things of the like can be a sign of pre-eclampsyia... (head aches, blurry vision etc)

No signs of pre-eclampsia. No previous warning anyway. All I am is getting sick to my stomach like at the begining.

Glad to know that I'm not going crazy.

Good!!!

Breezy my knees KILL right now in the joints... OWCH! I think it could be the relaxin because I can wake up with aching knees.
