So I use fuzzy bunz and prefolds with bumis whisper wraps. Today after Josh's bath I noticed he has a BRUISE on his leg! I know it is from the whisper wraps. I am pretty upset about this and am about ready to get rid of at least with ww if not prefolds. Josh is thin so I have to put them pretty tight but when I get it right on his belly it is really tight on his legs. has anyone had this problem with ww? and if so did you change covers? Also, does anyone like something better then ww? I love FB but they are so expensive. Thanks

We didn't use the whisper wraps, we used proraps, but Bri's leg would get not so much bruised, but more "redder" than most kids, if that makes sense. I asked the ped about it, and she said that probably a regular diaper would do the same, b/c it's not the diaper, it's the baby. (long, skinny, hard to fit). Sure enough, now that we've experienced more options in the past 2 years, they all do it to him. Except when my MIL has him, but she leaves the diaper so lose he pees out the leg cuff and soaks his clothes but never the dipe, LOL.

Oh, BTW, Josh looks just like Neal. He's a gorgeous little fella. Are you *sure* he's supose to be 5 months already???? I can't believe that. It seems like only yesterday, LOL

I really liked nylon pants because they have a minimum amount of elastic, and it's soft.

You could also opt for wool. If you can sew, you could make 'recycled' soakers or longies out of wool sweaters from the thrift store. OR fleece! 100% polyester fleece will work as a cover. You could probably find some pnts on clearance right now, or you could make some.

I KWYM about the bruise, Willie got that from his Bumkins AIO, and I felt awful. I always leave it for last. It's so cute tho, it's too bad!

If you want nylon covers and he's littler than 19 lbs. I've got several that I'm currently trying to sell because I've given up on clothe diapers for now cause we're non-stop sick around here and some external friend stuff has kept me busy, I just don't have the umph to keep up with CD's though I'm still doing clothe wipes which I love and may never go back to other wipes.
