Oooee, do I hurt!

I've got that nasty pubic bone pain already, much earlier than with my son... so bad that yesterday morning I could hardly walk.

I sleep on my side, and when I go to turn over, I get horrid cramps in my tummy... it's brutal!!

The not being able to walk is the worst though. No wonder my house is a disaster area! At least that's why I'm telling people it is... heh heh heh.

I'm that bad and I'm only having my second :( I get sharp pains under my belly when I get up and when I'm walking and when I try to climb over the baby gate and when I move in bed or try to turn over... then there is the Sciatica I get when I'm standing up or lying on my back. I have to sleep on my right side. Then there's the pubic pain. I swear I hear my bones clicking or cracking when I move in bed  and I feel like baby is ready to drop out.

Jamma this is my third baby - second pregnancy (LOL - figure that one out  ) and I got the crampy pinch tummy when I rolled over too and still do... I HATE ROLLING OVER.

The pubic bone pain has really just begun in the last few months and the burning grind pains of the babies head being low down have come along.

Your EDD is close to my twins 4th birthday [claploud]

I had those terrible pubic pains with my second one--boy do they immobilize you! I would hurt so bad with every step I took! Best of luck to you and I pray they go away. Stephanie :D

So sorry to hear that. :( I know about the whole not being able to walk thing. Same thing happened to me during me second pregnancy. Just try and take it easy and don't worry about the small stuff that can get done later. Your rest is much more important right now.

Well Vanessa, I wish I had've seen your advice before - I just tried to "clean out" DD's room  Every stretch and vac and move around HURT.

Naughty Me! In pain and now I am upset because I can see that the breakfast dishes need to go into the dishwasher and my bed isn't made.

Put a pillow between your legs at night.... it is the only thing that semi helps my pubic bone pain.... at night anyways...

so sorry you are not feeling good aussie mom. I was just about to PM you and ask you how you were feeling but then saw your post here. When is your due date again?

Vanessa my actual EDD is 3 october but I am having the section two weeks before that... so I am just telling everyone "in the last week of September" and I count that as being 6 weeks away.

I keep telling myself it's only 3 weeks and 3 weeks and that is not that long... BUT UGGGGGG!

I definately agree with all Mum's carrying consecutive babies IS HARDER!
I feel like such an annoying hypochondriact or something but I know everyone here is going through the same thing so I come here to complain and try to keep my complaining to DH to a minimum LOL LOL

You would think carrying twins was more painful, but it was only the weight that was painful. They jam in tight so they don't really move around and get under ribs or punch my pelvic floor LOL

I tried the pillow between my legs thing but it doesn't seem to do anything for me...

I'm actually quite worried about labour ... after reading this story about a lady whos pubic bones seperated during labour and she was basically crippled and she wasn't able to walk for months. She had to be in a wheelchair and get people to help her look after her newborn. It was SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction) and she felt something wasn't right during labour but because she had an epidural couldn't feel the pain.

Sorry for stealing your post!

Hey Renee you know what freaks me out??

The whole time I was in labor with ds I had this horrific pain right in my pubic bone... turns out it was his shoulder that was stuck... so ever since then... even while not pregnant I had pain there all the time... It never went away after the baby was born...

So when I got pregnant this time I though oh great!! Yup... getting worse... Pillows aren't really helping... unless they are REALLY fluffy... and we don't have many of those... if I bring many more pillows to bed with me dh might flip!!

I hope this baby doesn't screw it up anymore!

wooooo! Just lay the fears on the tabel before God specifically I guess.

I had a nightmare I had my section and I sat up in bed and it split open - how gross is that!

I also drempt that two of the doctors from All Saints (which is an Aussie TV show), got me in the hospital and lied that Dr Quade was going to give me a caesarian and then they said "NO! HA HA you are having a natural birth" and I was saying "I can't my placenta is wrong" and they were laughing in my face and yelling "push! push!" at me. mmm Still hasn't stopped me from watching All Saints and Dr Quade is still my favourite character ROTF. (Probably only Renee will know who I am talking about)

Oh I can so relate! If that happened to me I'd be freaking out that my bones would break and then I'd be like "I want a c section!" Honestly, I never had pains this bad with Abby. When I turn over in bed I freak out thinking they are going to break  The clicking and cracking noises/feelings on top of that... and the pain!

I still had a little pubic pain for the first 3-4 months after Abby was born.

Yes I guess that's all I can do...
I once talked to this lady on a MB that had her cl*****s split in half during labour  Now that would be awful! And the doctor told her he couldn't stitch it back together because he would risk damaging nerves and she would lose all sensitivity... so I think they just left it like that.
If this is too much for the pregnancy forum I apologize  Rachel you can move it to C'Moms wives forum if you want.

I have never watched All Saints... so I don't know who Dr Quade is

I have a friend Tammy who her obstetrician knew the baby was too big but continued to make Tammy push anyway and she split so bad that the obstetrician RAN out of the room and Tammy last time I talked to her had 7 repair operations and more to come... She and her husband made a lawsuit against the doctor but not to get money, to get her struck off the record which didn't work.

She got in the newspaper and they are mocking her making out as though "woman sues because of big baby" like she was an idiot or something. It really made me angry... I personally do believe the obstetrician should be struck off for the simple fact she ran out of the room due to Tammy's injuries.

Renee... I am sorry you don't know who Dr Quade is, I am a big fan  ROTF!

That is awful! I would have refused to push anymore and ordered them to do a c section. Or use forceps or ventouse. I think the midwife should have been struck off as well... well, maybe she will muck up again one day and then they will strike her off. Not that I would wish anything like that to happen to anyone else ever again...

I do watch Home And Away and McLeods Daughters. Sometimes I watch Neighbours too
