Nothing in particular. Just that hormonal pregnancy thing. I just feel weepy and sappy...and unstable. LOL
I get overwhelmed with something and I want to cry. Everything is calm...I want to cry.
Just...ANYthing.

That sure gets annoying after a while. :p

So, gals, who's up for a movie at my house? It doesn't even have to be a sappy chick flick, we'll all be sobbing through a comedy, what's it really matter WHAT we watch, huh? I'll provide the dark chocolate, Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke. Who wants to bring the ice cream? Brownies? Chocolate covered strawberries?

My house, tomorrow night...how's 6:30 sound?

:p

Oh...and...BYOT (bring your own tissue) I don't think I could possibly supply enough for us all teehee

I'll come! Sounds great! I know what you mean about crying...not today, but other days - OY!! My ds just looks at me, wipes my tears and says, "It's ok, Mama."

aww, Tara. I've been weepy the last few days and I have absolutely no excuse! lol. But if you're providing the dark chocolate...I'm all over that! Can I come even though I'm not preggers?? lol

Tara... here I am trying to conqueor my fresh baked cookies and Twix bar cravings and you go and mention Cherry Coke and dark chocolate... ugghh! You're awful... guess I'll have that last Twix bar in my candy dish after all. Hehehe!!!! By the way... I'm a naturally watered flower pot myself over here. The never ending fountain... I hate crying... I swell up and get all red. Then I look like a red, puffy blowfish. (Completely disgusted with myself at this point.) Ugghh!

~Tara~
01-24-2008, 03:33 PM
Ha! I've been on a Twix kick too. That's funny.

Well, Kim, if you're PMSy...I think we can make an exception LOL Will that work?

Oh Kate, I know it. My little man just looks at me, tilts his head, has a concerned look on his face...then lays his head on my lap. Or does his darndest to make me smile..which with that one, it really doesn't take much..he again, tilts his head..then grins that irresistible Boo grin..then, more loudly than I expect, says "Mommy!" and thus begins his chant 'mommy mommy mommy mommy moooooooooooommy...mommy mommy mommy Mommy MOMMY' I can't help but chuckle at him.

My other 3 boys know to just be quiet and keep to themselves. Or will at times offer a hug. Or Eldest will take the others off to another room to play together..he gets them all involved in an activity. Or he quietly asks if they can watch a 'quiet movie' upstairs. :) That kids a dream I tell ya

Can not being pregnant and just wanting to get out of the housework for an evening count that I can come over, pleeeeeeeeeease! Some days the ritual, though I love it, wash, clean, clean the table for the 107th time, picking up shoes for the umteenth time, refocusing the studing kids gets umm tedious.

I want just to stir things up that i was considering buying my kids a real pet sugar glider they are selling at this fair. Oh my I better get my mind on something else or we will be having a pet sugar glider soon and I am not sure if I want that right now.

Hugs anyway Tara.

How far is it from New MExico to Alabama? um.. and time change right? now, let's see, do I have to wear a bra?
Okay I won't tortue you with that, but can I bring some regular milk chocolate?
Speaking of children making you smile, Abby will turn around and stick her little bootie out and shake it, the whole time smiling as big as she can. I laugh every time. and she comes and hugs me.
Kids are such a blessing.

Ok ok ok
Since there has been such interest from the pg and non-pg women alike on this board...I hereby open the invitation to all moms just wanting to get together. Get away. Get together with other moms and just let it all out. Be it a groan, a scream or a cry. All is welcome.
And no, Esther, we won't make you wear a bra :p
And Jen, I think I got the warm blanket thing covered. Lots of blankets and quilts and my down comforter as well. But, if you have a fave snuggly (er, aside from the hub) by all means, bring it along. :)

Sound cool?

Renee...no, you do NOT need a sugar glider right now :p

Oh and Esther, I'm just a *zap* away, quit all yer figurin' *grins*

Oh..yes...thanks for the reminder Jen...

Yes, kids are welcome...I have a huge room upstairs where they can romp and play and be primarily supervised and cared for by my 10 yr old. He will entertain and play with them. They can also watch movies (approved ones of course) up there..it's all good ;)

Hey, as long as you don't come in the buff, I'm ok.
I think a nudist gathering would be just a bit much. That's all I'm sayin' LMHO

Oooh, can I come, toooooo??? [claploud] I'm not preggers, but I'd be more than happy to wear elastic and leave my bra at home (not that anyone would notice that last part! lol). I'll bring treats, too, if you'll let me come! [OK]

I'm sorry you've been feeling weepy, my pregnant friends. I get that way easily, and without the good excuse you all have. I'll bring hugs to the party tomorrow. [hug]

*smooches*

Ok, I had to look this one up. I'd never heard of a sugar glider, much less having one for a pet.:-D

Not pg, but have succumbed to the "weepies" at times. I can bring Bob Evans Hershey's Hot Fudge Cake. It's delicious, but slightly coma inducing.

You've btdt several times yourself. You're totally in..and Miss Leslie if she's hanging around :giggle:

MommyJessy..ooh yes, go ahead, go into labor here with us. We'll take care of everything. It will be a wonderful experience for you. Did I mention I have a big whirlpool tub? I expect it shall be wonderful for labor/birthing *cheesy grins* That's where *I* expect to be, come May.

Oh, Esther, it is a bit chilly here right now. Maybe low to mid 50s ?? I've not paid any attention to the weather lately. So, uh, at least bring a robe LMHO

Wow!

It sounds like y'all are going to have quite a party! I don't have kids (yet), I'm not pregnant (yet), but I would love to come. I'm trying to learn as much as I can before the BFP...if MommyJessy is going to be there, I could learn a lot about labor and delivery!

The only thing that I could offer is cheesecake. Just recently, I made a cappuccino cheesecake that was so tall that it almost overflowed its pan! It was incredibly creamy with cocoa powder and dark chocolate curls. I could bring along a few of those...
