Grandparent's day..Sept. 10

Saw this in a magazine. A reminder for grandparent's day...which is Sept. 10. They have a free certificate you can print out and let your child color. You can buy a frame for 1.00...it would make a nice gift.

We have made my mom a t-shirt with hand prints on it before. I just bought a white t-shirt and let ds go to town w/the paint making his hand prints all over it, then I took some and wrote "Grandma's little angle" on it. She loved it. :D

Welcome....I had actually forgot that there was even a grandparent's day...until I read it in that magazine. I don't have too much grandparent experience myself...my mom's parents passed away before I was born...my dad's mom also and unfortunately I had a grandfather who was not fond of children at all...I know go figure he had kids :lol: So helping my daughter fix this up for my parents and my aunt and uncle (who are her honarary grandprarents...my uncle is like a father to me and they volunteered since DH's parents are not allowed around her) will be fun for us both!
