I found a couple of things that I thought that others will find interesting:

1) We tried hempmilk this week and my DD loved it! It has 46% of the RDA for calcium in each serving, has Omega 3 & 6 and lots of other good things. It's more expensive than the other non-dairy milks but you get more nutrition for your buck.

2) Silk Live! Soy yogurt has 30% of the RDA for calcium.

You can find those things at health food stores generally.

We just tried the silk live last week and Ethan loved it :) Have you tried the Vegan gourmet cheese alternative. It melts really well and my boys love it!
I haven't tried the hemp milk as it seemed quite expensive, but will have to give it a try. Ethan really likes the chocolate flavored Dairfree

we might have to try the hempmilk... with ricemilk, you have to do the calcium supplement because there's just not enough calcium in that alone.....

anyone know how much calcium is in a serving of broccoli?

Actually, Rach, Rice Dream makes a fortified rice milk with 30% of your RDA for calcium. You can get it at Wal-Mart for a little under $3.00. (It costs over $4.00 at Meijer's

Here's the info on broccoli:

Broccoli, cooked
1 cup= 94 mg calcium
