Jonethan has just started to genuinely laugh at jokes on tv, daddy when he talks funny, etc. It is so different from the tickle laugh...ya know...forced. It's like music to my ears. I love it! [lovingsmiley] Just a second ago, the guys from the upside-down show were on and he just let out a big belly laugh. [rotfl]I asked him if it was funny and he said, "Yeaaaaah!" So so cute! [thumbsup]

I was just thinking the same thing. I can hear Ashleigh upstairs laughing at something and she has the BEST laugh ever. The kind where you can't help but laugh at her laugh... it really puts a smile on your face

Boo gets us. One of Eldest's favorite things to do is while strapping him in the car seat..Eldest will tickle Boo's neck and he just cackles! Then we'll be driving down the road and we'll hear it start in again. Soon the whole truck is just rolling in laughter, tears streaming down our faces. Hilarious! Truly an infectious laugh. And then there's the sigh afterward teehee
Different than that 'developing a sense of humor' laugh but still..doggone cute!

Awww, Becca, that's so cute!! [cheerful] I still remember the first time Scotty (who's now 15!) cracked up like that; not from being tickled or entertained, or being a ham... The first time he actually 'got' a joke and belly laughed. He was watching The Lion King, and Justin and I suddenly heard him laughing his head off in the other room. It was hilarious! It's a real milestone, isn't it?

That is wonderful! Sometimes it really lifts my spirits if I'm feeling stressed or impatient, just to hear my children laugh! My son is a real giggler, he loves to be tickled and he just chortles! He also gets in these "giddy" moods when he just laughs and laughs at Renee, no matter what she's doing - we all crack up when that happens.
