MY sixteen year old is in kind of a funk. We are in a negative cycle. I want to break free of it. I forget sometimes how hard dealing with the hormones and growing up was...I remember feeling so ugly and not important and as if the worst was always assumed about me. I would love some prayers for my teen. I thought too I would just pray for the teens on this forum.
Jesus,
You see our teens now just as you saw them before they were formed and as they were forming in our wombs. Please guard them from the enemy. Help their faith to grow strong and sure and true. May our teens grow in the knowledge and grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Fill them with your wisdom Lord and the konwledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help them to withstand the world's temptations. Help them to have a proper biblical self respect and to treat others with that same respect. Keep them from evil. May they feel loved and cared for and not always misunderstood. Wrap Your arms around them. Help us as parents to know when to speak up and when to be quiet. Help us to set proper limitations. Help us to let go of them when we need to. I commit them into your hand Jesus. I stand on the promise that the good work you have begun in them you are faithful to finish. In Jesus name. Amen.
