is two today!! My my how time goes so quickly. It has been a bittersweet morning as her birthday causes me to reflect the circumstances surrounding her birth, which many of you know were not great. I was essentially alone, father nowhere in sight (where he remains today), but confused and engaged to someone I had been seeing while pregnant.
In any case, she is truly cause for celebration!! I am excited about having her birthday party on Sunday. I'm doing a twinkle, twinkle, little star (you are two now, yes you are!) theme. If anyone has ideas on configuring a star cake, that would be helpful!!
As for today, I will make her some cookies and something yummy for supper! I am blessed to be out of work since my exhaust system fell off my car last Friday, so will enjoy the day and probably ge tout and play in this monstrous amount of snow we got over the last few days!
