I took children's benedryl

OK, so I took the children's benedryl instead of my cough syrup [whatwacko] . Has anyone else ever done that? I don't know where my mind has been these days. I can't wait for this illness to be gone!

Yes I have and it works quiet well I have to say. It stopped my cough and helped me to rest. Stephanie :D

I have taken children's demazin, but it also says for children over 12 and adults... it works well and really knocks me out at night when I have colds.

I am one of these people who has to take a nighttime cold medicine during cold/flu or I don't sleep.

Of course now being pregnant I can't take a thing, so it's lucky apart from preg discomfort I am healthy. :wink:

I haven't taken the children's meds before, but I was so sick once that I took a zanaflex(muscle relaxer) instead of the zithromax I was supposed to take. The end result was what I was looking for-----sleep!!

I took Dave's Tylenol 3 while we were dating because I was young and dumb and thought "hmmm says tylenol, must be tylenol".

Hmmm I learned about two days later when I woke up that Tylenol 3 is NOT the same as Tylenol :lol:
