View Full Version : m/s in the second tri????
savedbygrace 12-20-2007, 09:34 PM Okay, why am I now getting m/s? I have lost my "lunch" 3 times now. not every meal. not every day. but I am definately more queasy. No it isn't some sort of flu. It's random. A twice there was a little bit of blood.? anyhow I thought that your second tri was suppose to be better than the first?
believeNgrace 12-20-2007, 10:14 PM So sorry to hear of your m/s. No fun! Those hormones sure can be pesky at times. Baby's way of saying how much you are loved! Hoping you feel better soon, til then, consider yourself *hugged*.
plaid 12-20-2007, 10:30 PM Oh, I am sorry. It seems to be different for everyone and each pregnancy. My m/s has gotten a little worse with each pregnancy?? I know mine went quite a ways into my second tri last time. I think I was pretty good by 16 weeks. I hope your clears up soon!!!
Godzgirl 12-21-2007, 12:10 AM Awww...sorry you aren't feeling good girl. With Hannah i was sick all through the first and second trimester and with ethan i only got two weeks of it. Go figure. *shrug* Hope you feel better soon. ((HUGS))
~Tara~ 12-21-2007, 09:48 AM aww, sorry sweetie
yeah, every pregnancy is different
you're likely at a growth spurt now, for the baby...causing another rush of hormones flowing through your body, upsetting the normal rhythm of things.
I don't know about that little bit of blood though...that would concern me a tad..not overly, as it was just a bit..but..look into that would ya? Anyone have some input on that aspect?
kanaclark 12-22-2007, 12:12 AM hon, I was sick off my butt for 38 weeks and 2 days. I'm dead serious. And then, when I wasn't "sick", I was craving enchiladas. (which of course, just made me sick all over again)
With both of my pregnancies I always got sick in the 2nd and 3rd trimester. It was usually when I ate something greasy or something that my body just decided it didn't want to eat that day...LOL. Don't know about the blood thing, I would pass it by the doc and see what she says.
Ashlee 12-22-2007, 09:32 AM I had a tad of blood in my vomit a few times during m/s.. I can't remember which pregnancy that was with. I never did check into it.. maybe I should have but I guess I just wasn't really concerned. It didn't have any other alarming symtoms. I just assumed it was from the violence of puking up my food. As for m/s in the second trimester.. with Lawson I had all day sickness for what seemed like forever.. it lasted well into the second trimester. Hope your better soon.
I am *still* throwing up every.single.day. I'm 13 weeks now and I'm, personally, shocked that I'm still sick. It *was* a tad better for a week or two, then BAM, it was back in full swing. I SO understand what's going on with you... it stinks... I've also had a tinge of blood in my vomit sometimes... not a lot though. How much are you having?
savedbygrace 12-22-2007, 12:19 PM Thanks everyone for your response! I'm doing okay so far. I really don't want to sound like I am complaining. I was just confused that it started in the second tri.
I don't have a lot of blood in my *ick* so i'm not too worried about it. dh thinks it's just the lining of my stomache.
Anyhow, i'm gowing to watch what may trigger it.
The first time it was after I ate: chicken taquito's, green chile chicken enchilada's and spanish rice.(no i did not finish my plate)
second time it was : a breakfast burrito with ham and potatoes smothered in green chile sauce
third it was: chicken tenders with white gravy, green beans and mac-n-cheese.
So i'm not sure if anything really ties in together. Hopefully it won't happen again! Hope you ladies are feeling better or feel better soon!
PianoMama 12-23-2007, 02:03 PM When I first read the title of your thread, I though you said M/C not M/S. I was like...NOOOOOOO, not a miscarriage!!!!
My ickiness ended at 17.5 weeks...hope yours goes away soon!
(now i'm dealing with heartburn )
Funny, I thought it was just me... I thought the same thing when I saw it... I held my breath for the one to three minutes it took for the post to come up!!! Then I was absolutely relieved when it was "just" morning sickness! ::whew:: Esther, you scared more than one of us with that! :)
savedbygrace 12-26-2007, 07:22 PM Oh ladies, I am so sorry. Truly that was not my intention. I guess that wasn't such a great abbreviation....
However I think I know why I am throwing up here and there. I think I am waiting too long to eat and then when I do, it's too much for me to digest. The thing is I don't really eat unless I feel hungry. But by that time it is too late. So I'm am gonna try to snack and eat small meals throughout the day.
~Tara~ 12-27-2007, 10:10 AM I keep reading it as m/c every time too....even now KNOWING what the thread is about hehe
Anywho..good idea Esther..eat before you're *hungry*

Yeah, that happened with me too early on. By the time I was hungry, it was too late. I needed to remember to eat before the hunger pangs came!
