I can't remember if I have any fellow moms who endure the sport of football or not! But I wanted to dance with somene! Wish we had our dancing smiley face! You know the blue one doing the dance with his arms? That's me! We have to finish out this week but then half my life will return to me! Hallelujah! It's been good but I am glad it is over! This season only one broken bone and two sprains! Not too bad! Anyone else doing the happy dance? C'mon and join me! Oh, yeah! Oh, yeah!

well, I didn't have anyone in football, but does marching band/guard count??? They had sort of the same schedule as football, but marched only at home games and had many competitions to go to. It is always nice when the season is over and you can take a breather. We have wrestling coming up soon for our son and that is quite a long season.
Glad you are gettting a break.

football doesn't bother me. we have no one playing, but I actually enjoy having the games on all Sunday afternoon on the tv (and Sat. too) The 24th of next month is the "Carolina Clash" and we will be going to my moms to watch the game there if the broadcast it. (The carolina clash, is when Clemson plays Carolina) One of the boys
Brian works with will be going to the game.
Me, personally, I'll be glad when the series is over, Ha. (baseball) It doesn't start till tonight. LOL

I don't have experience with football but I was SO ready for soccer season to end last week. We had a great season but I'm glad to free of the game and practice schedules. With my DH coaching and two girls playing it was a bit tricky this year.
On the other hand I can't wait for the world series to start tonight! I may be a southern transplant, but I'm still in many ways a New Englander at heart. Go sox!!!

Sorry to hijack your thread, Leslie, but I could NOT let this go! haha - as a die hard Yankee fan I despise the sox. Anyway, Colorado should win the series because they've never won before!!!

we're pulling for Boston I supose. My dh is from NY, and Boston is the closest, Ha. It would have been nice to see the yanks there this year, but oh well, Ha.
it seems like half their team if from the south. They have a bunch of texans on their team.

Band counts, soccer counts...and even waiting for the
World Series to be over counts. LOL! For me it is football, but I don't feel like life is my own at this point...but in a few days Iwill get a large portion of it back! LOL! As far as the world series goes girls...I could care less who wins. I only want whoever wins the first game to win the next three in a row so it is over faster! I HATE watching baseball on TV. LOL!

Now, I hope that the Sox win 4, but I PRAY they win 4 in a row. The series will rule the schedule n the evenings until it's over. (except for tomorrow, which a Cub Scout Pack Meeting saved me, so we'll still be talking about it, I"m sure)

I used to do the Happy Dance when soccer season was over. I have fried in the sun, shivered in the cold, and been drenched in the rain, watching soccer games. Oh, to be fair, they did "call" a game because of a tornado scare. (eye roll) Finally, the season was over, only to be replaced by "winter soccer". Many of the games are played indoors, but some are played on a heated field. The stands aren't heated, though. Brrrr!!!!

Today is playoffs, if they win today they go to Championships, if they win the Championships, it's on to the Super bowl... so there are possibly 2 more weeks of football and then I can happy dance! whoo hoo! : D

You poor thing! 2 more weeks! EEEK! Our last game was a good one! My son made afumble recovery and severeal key tackles. For a sophomore to start varsity and do so well is great for him! WE sat through POURING down rain for the 2 quarter and all of half time! Mercifully it stopepd for the last half! I was never so glad to know that it was my LAST game for the year! We have barracks clean up Monday, the award ceremony next Sunday and we are done! Happy dance!

What about, they not only are playing sports, but also watching sports they don't even play on TV (Phila. Flyers) plus football games on TV, and they also go watch high school wrestling, hubby's nephew is the coach to one of the best teams in our area.....
