Oooeee, I get headaches all the time. It's driving me nuts!

I take ibuprofen when I can't stand it any more.

I got them a lot the begining of my second trimeser. Mine were migraines though (brought on from stress of my former employment. and the hormones). I was told under no circumstances was I to take ibuprofin. To try acetemetophin. I never broke down and did it though because that hasn't worked for me since high school. I did find that a hot cup of tea helps. A little caffiene may take the headache away, or at least lessen it. Caffiene used to be used as a pain reliever years and years ago.

A bath can also help.

I had a migraine on Saturday night that stretched into most of the day Sunday. Part of it was caused by some stress, the rest, I didn't eat enough that day. Are you eating enough? That can trigger a doozy of one for me.

Sometimes...

It could be a sign of Anaemia/iron deficiency?

I was and occasionally I still do (I am in my third tri) during the first trimester I was really sick with migranes and everything I have read says this is to to our wonderful friends "hormones".

My obstetrician said it is okay to take panadol so I do when they come on.

I would talk to your doc/midwife about it. How is your Blood pressure? I have hormonal migraines. I get them when I am not preg or nursing. However I had pre-eclampsia for both pregs and had headaches due to bp/ Just tell your doc/midwife to be sure

I get headaches, but mine seem to be more from my allergies and sinuses. Acetaminaphen is the only thing I can take and sometimes that helps. Sometimes just putting a cold rag on my neck or warm wash cloth on my face (sinuses) helps.

I always get headaches in the second trimester... If I can stand it I just don't take anything or just tylenol... If it ends up a migraine I have something I can take for it that the midwives okayed last time.

Just last week I had a killer migraine and gave in and took my migraine pill...

I got horrible headaches with both pregnancies, my dr. gavea script for feoracet(sp) it is basically tylenol, caffeine and one other ingredient mixed together, it was about the only thing that helped. I also would usually drink a bottle of gatorade when I got headaches and that would softten them if I didn't take the meds.

When I was pg, I had those badly!! This may sound weird, but I would sit in a dark and quiet room and just relax!! It helped alot!!

That doesn't sound weird! If you have a migraine.. or any headache for that matter... quiet and dark is the best thing for it.
