The contractions are still over 10 minutes apart. I am having lots of bloody show still though, so stuff is definitely happening down there. The contractions are still not terribly strong but they are getting more difficult to walk through.

DH went to get some ritz crackers (so i can eat w/ peanut butter) and subway for me LOL. After I posted last time I started feeling really ill, shaky and tired and like I was coming down with something, I am sure you know the feeling - So I went and laid down on my left side with all kinds of pillows propping me up for support. I managed to squeeze a few winks in and got a short nap and I feel more rested now. Now I am hungry! And I might as well eat because I know my labor might be really long since I don't appear to be one of those women that pop out their babies in 15 minutes LOL.

Contractions are roughly 6 minutes apart. Heading to the hospital soon. It's an hour and a half away, so, I may be gone for a day or two - we have to stay until the baby pees and poos and all that good stuff... but i will post pics as soon as I can!

Thanks for all your prayers!!

Well. The doctor told us to come in when contractions were less than 5 minutes apart. And they were (they were 4-5 minutes). but i was not dilated enough according to their standards, so, they sent me home. we tried to get a hotel (as the city is an hour and a half away), but the place we stopped at was booked and they said the other hotels close at 11. Well, we figured by the time we went into the city and actually found a hotel, we could be home, so we decided to just drive home. So here we are. The contractions are still 4-5 minutes apart... I'm really tired. I am going to try to rest some. They said come back when I am less than 5 minutes apart and they feel more "intense". Like what is that supposed to mean? I've already been doing this 13 hours! I was only like 2 cm dilated though, which was really disappointing because the pain is already difficult to get through. It was awful driving, and now I am going to have to ride YET ANOTHER hour and a half trip to the hospital while having contractions! it's NOT fun.

Anyhow, I am going to go rest now. Hopefully this baby will be here soon.

OK here is what is going on real quick before we go:

the contractions are less than 2 minutes apart and coming stronger. i keep feeling like i need to use the bathroom but nothing comes, and DH is worried we won't make it to the city so we are going to the local dinky hospital to get checked out just in case i pop. If i'm not far along then we will try to go to the city again. I feel naseous and already barfed once this morning. But, the contractions are not as bad as I thought they would be by now. Either that or God is blessing me with easy contractions even though i am having to breathe/work my way through them by now. I don't really know what to expect because last labor the doctor broke my water at 1cm and then put me on pitocin when i wasn't going fast enough for him so it hurt really bad, so maybe this is all it is supposed to hurt.

Anyway will catch you all later.

Oh Cheese, you are in my prayers today. What a lot of hassle they've put you through. : mad : Shame on them. What is wrong with doctors? Contractions that are that close together, and the fact that you've started to dialate... My goodness, they should know better than that. A baby's on the way. Looks like you will deliver right on the dot. Praying you get to the hospital in time sweetie.
