I am experiencing a weird I never heard of pregnancy symptom. I thought I would throw it out there and see if anybody had heard of it before and also see if anybody else had their own quirky symptoms they wanted to share.

I had several dizzy spells in the last week(thats not weird for pregnancy but the cause is) Anyways the doctor said that most pregnant women retain some water (also not weird). Anyway, my body has decided to retain water not in the ordinary places but in my inner ear  Weird !!! So the fluid in my ear causes me to get dizzy. It actually is a disorder that non pregnant people can get but he said that he thought mine was pregnancy induced and it should go away when I have the baby.

So share your quirky symptoms or tell me if you've heard of mine before. :) :)

I've gotten dizzy too, but I don't think it is from that. We are pretty sure mine was from over heating (both times it happened, I was trying to check out at wal-mart.). I'm just retaining water everywhere :(

Besides your normal symptoms (oddities) for me, like heartburn, constipation, bloating, cholasma, acne, exhuastion, and the raging hormones and emotions: the inside of my belly button is looking bruised. I don't think it is going to pop out, it is getting flat. I really don't know how to explain it. Kind of like the back of it is getting shoved upwards and is pulling the rest of it up and making it flat looking. But the inside of it looks like a reddish purply blue bruise. I don't get it.

The dizzy spells are never nice however they come - I have had a few of these so I can idenfity definately.

Hope your ear does get better though BEFORE the pregnancy is finished

My sister had a problem like this with her 2nd.
Please, be careful, as she passed out a couple times, never lost consciousness, but came close to hitting counters and such.

I retained alot of water, everywhere with my last, about 50lbs worth-honestly. I swear I peed non-stop for two weeks after!

I do worry about passing out especially when I am home alone with ds. I sit down the minute it comes on, no matter where I am. Last time I was in the middle of cooking dinner  When the dizzines gets under control I make my way to the couch turn the tv on for ds and make sure I have a phone by my side just in case. Thankfully all my "spells" have been in th evening at home, although I will let you know if I end up sitting down in the middle of a grocery aisle.

I wish it would get better but the dr. basically the only way it could go is to get worse until the baby. :( Fortunately that should only be 3 -5 weeks.

I had a few dizzy spells with my last pregnancy - although I think that it was low blood pressure in my case. Does anyone else find that they get really clumsy with pregnancy. Apparently it is something to do with the joints and ligaments loosening up for pregnancy (as well as the inevitable change in body proportions). I find that I end up dropping things everywhere all the time.
