So my feet have started to swell a wee bit. It's probably just water retention bcuz my blood pressure is fine. When I walk my feet feel like rubber or leather and as if the tops of my feet are going to split open. My feet got swollen with Abby as well but I don't remember it being this uncomfortable. Anyone got any ideas on how to relieve the rubber-like feeling? I've tried putting my feet up but it hasn't helped. Any ideas??

I am prescribing a foot massage to get the circulation going!

My swelling started too... only when i eat lots of salty stuff though... bleh.

Has your dr checked you out though like for blood pressure and stuff?

I hope you find some relief. :-) Lay off the salty stuff and eat lots of fruits and veggies... i find that helps me a lot... not that i always follow my own advice... but if i eat french fries, i am paying for it later LOL

Yeah, I was at the midwife yesterday and my blood pressure is fine and my urine was fine as well. I don't normally eat salty food bcuz I'm not big on salt, but I have had a pack of doritos a day for the last few days so maybe that's contributing to it. Will try to step it up on the fruit and veg though....lol. Abby keeps eating all the fruit and by the time I go to get some, it's all gone cuz she eats it all...LOL. So I might have to buy a secret stash and hide it.

The most awesome invention ever known to a pregnant woman's swelling feet are those horrific looking Ted Hose. They are kind of like silky really thick knee high socks, but they are made specifically for swelling. I was told to wear them during the day, but when I was pg with Emma, I wore then at night, and it took my swelling WAAAY down. I wasn't as diligent with them during Noah's pg, and I paid the price...my feet were the same as your Eva. I totally recommend these, they are cheap, they are OH SO SEXY, and they really work wonders!

Blessings,
