Does anyone else have a LOT of discomfort around the pubic bone and bladder area? I am assuming it's further stretching, but doesn't make it nice. [crysad]

When I was in labor with Josiah his shoulder was stuck right above my pubic bone. So I had a tremondous (sp?) amount of pain right there the whole time.
So after he was born I still had that pain all the time. And now that I am pregnant again it is so sore! I foresee it being REALLY painful by the time I am 9 months pregnant it will probably be pretty painful!

Ouch! I had that when I was pg. I'm sorry your feeling that discomfort...I'll say a prayer for you.
Yup! It's not unbearable by any means, but I'd rather it not be there. The baby's constantly kicking my bladder and every now and then, it feel like everything's going to just fall right out of me.
Is anyone else's ligament stretching hurting way worse in their second pregnancy?? Sometimes, when I get up really fast, that sucker will hurt like nothing else! It wasn't nearly this bad with Riley.

AW man Beck... Ligaments suck in the second pregnancy! And the third isn't any better!!
Yes it's horrible :( but just remember it won't last forever! That's what I keep telling myself. Every time I wake up during the night when I want to roll over and my pubic bones feel like they are gonna snap. OUCH

That's interesting that others have also found that the ligaments hurt worse in the second pregnancy. I have been finding that too, particularly when I get up too fast. I had just assumed that it was probably the ligaments. I also have a lot more of the downwards dragging discomfort this time if I stand up for too long. I really feel for you guys who have heaps of pain though - since my morning sickness ended a couple of weeks ago (at 19 weeks) I haven't had too much discomfort.

Yup. I was totally there, and I am carrying much much much lower the second time around. The only "dropping" this baby will be doing is when it's headin' on out.
NZmummy, that is exactly how I describe it downwards dragging pain.
And Beck, yes TA "feels like everything is going to fall out" LOL.
Nothing like having bub dance on your bladder -
I am guessing at this stage the baby still isn't fixed into position as such either. I hope my Dr does a U/S when I got in next because I want to know exactly how big she is, either that or I will have to wait to 32 weeks
I hate the tight hard feelings (BHs contractions I think...) where it feels like baby is trying to burst out of your belly  All I can keep thinking of is the Alien bursting out of that ladys belly in Alien
I love being pregnant but I just want this baby out!
Oh yes... the bouncing on the bladder UGH I must go to the toilet so many times because I feel the need to go and I get hardly anything out.
I also think baby is crushing half my stomach space because I don't feel hungry a lot of the time...
And this heartburn OH BOY! Sure don't want to run out of Mylanta here! Which I have right now :( I have been putting up with it for like 2 weeks now because I keep forgetting to buy Mylanta at the grocery store.
I don't get any more U/S now (just had the two) and I wish I could because I have a feeling this baby is big. And I'd love to know how big she is right now. I still have another 10 plus weeks to go. I am guessing she is gonna be 9lbs something
Ugh! The constant feeling of having to pee is driving me nuts too. I swear I went to the bathroom the other day and like 2 minutes later (literally), I had to go again!!! Oh yeah, and the heartburn is here full force now. Rock on!

Oh man... I knew it!!! With every day that passes the pain in my pubic bone is getting worse! I couldn't even walk today and I am only 9 weeks 4 days!! Not looking forward to third trimester...
Ahem, is anyone else finding it near on impossible to accomodate DH's male whims (LOL KWIM?).

YES! And it certainly doesn't help any of those aches and pains!

I'm not so bad with that one physically. We have figured out a few ways so I'm not getting squished, or the baby. The emotional part, NO WAY!!!! That is what got us pregnant to begin with!!!!!!!! And it doesn't help that afterwards, I get a stitch in my left side, nearly everytime since my tummy started bulging out.
It doesn't help that I feel like I am burning up all the time, that Snookie likes to pretend to be stomping grapes on my pelvic floor (especially when I'm in the car and at least a half hour from the bathroom) or when she thinks it is fun to wedge herself into my right side and see how far she can push herself into me. She spent an entire day doing that one last week. I tried pushing her over, she refused to budge and pushed right back at me. I sure felt lopsided that day. Hubby came home for lunch that day and I made him feel where she was, and his eyes got big, like, I can't believe I can feel that! My poor stomach has been turned into a punching bag, especially at night. Then, during the night when I'm sleeping, she likes to cuddle as far back into me as she can. I sleep on my left side by nature, and I wake up and she has put both my legs to sleep by reclining on the uterine artery (I thought she wasn't supposed to be able to do that if I'm on my side  ) or I think she ties my sciatic nerve into knots. That is what I felt this morning. I woke up to use the potty, and my left leg didn't want to co-operate at all. It tingled from my hip to just under my knee, like when I pulled my sciatic on my right side a few years ago.
This being pregnant thing is no where near what I expected. EVER. Why didn't anyone warn me about this sort of stuff?!?!?!? A couple of weeks ago, I told Hubby I didn't think I could handle being pregnant again, and to plan on adopting the rest of our children. He just said that we'll see, and that I would probably end up changing my mind once Dainyah finally gets here!

I like that phrase "postpartum amnesia". It is so true, and so necessary (otherwise very few people would be doing it more than once  ).

Yep and I agree with Bekah... it just means extra pains for me. There is only 2 positions we can use now. :(

 I love the saying "Amnesia: The condition that enables a woman who has been through labour to do it again!" It's so true
I was telling my Obst last appointment that when you are having twins they can't move around as much, pretty much stuck into position... so I didn't feel as much movement as I do with this baby. In fact they got to the point where it was so crowded in their, I would have to poke them to get any movement (thus the continual fetal heart monitoring we went through).
I think it's so funny when she moves and it feels like a big gas going to come out  .. I described it to DH like sometimes I feel like I am about to do a massive fart - ha ha ha.
[whateeeeeksign] He finds all of this a constant source of amusement.
 Unlike my DH who wants to stay a mile away from me right now because I have a H.
Yesterday it was itching like crazy I was going insane almost crying and he was teasing me and I got mad at him and said "it's NOT funny!". I think he got the message real quick!
I had to go to the Chemist and get some Anusol. My lord it felt like I'd been bitten by a thousand mozzies down there and worst thing is I could not scratch  :(
Renee
ummm  LOL my DH got worried and asked if H was contageous
ROTFL ROTFL... I have never heard anything so funny in my life.
God bless him!

Men are so silly sometimes!
We call Hs "piles" here... I read that if you have lots they look like a pile of grapes. Ok.... I think one is enough!
my DH got worried and asked if H was contageous [rofl]
yeah they are called piles here too. That is an actual medical term.
ahhhh the life of a woman LOL
That has to be one of the worst things that can happen in pregnancy other than morning sickness...
The only other thing for me that comes close is the heartburn...
