Hey Everyone! I'm back on here now... I guess my username and password got lost after the reformatting of this site. My old username was lauraclake.

Sooo... I had my baby girl on March 31st, 2006. It was a total shock that she was a girl because I was almost positive I was having a boy! Now I can't imagine it any other way! She's awesome. She was a big baby weighing in at 9lbs 5oz. I ended up having a c-section because she was posterier and started going into a bit of distress. It was a wonderful day regardless and now she's here!!! Yipee!!

My daughter had a hemangioma on her face but it faded by age two...Maybe her's will too...I'll be praying for that pretty little eye!

Where was it on your daughters face??

above her eye, part of it touched her eye lid and it went all the way into her hair line...it was light at the ends and dark in the middle...now she's 7, you only see it when she's MAD...

I wouldn't worry too much..just pray about it..we heard all that stuff about it affecting her eye growth and development and she has perfect vision...I'll be praying for her and you and that makes 2 of us and probably lots more.

I also have a niece that had one on her back and one on her eye...As it faded she formed several sties on that eye but she too has perfect vision now that she's a grown up (gosh I feel old)..So given the coloring being that light, I would try hard not to worry...

Angela's was bright red and thick when she was born...but they fade... [praying]
