As a mother of five, I'd like to think my "labors" do not go unappreciated. However, one evening as I was preparing dinner, my 13-year-old son told me about a movie he'd seen in health class of a woman giving birth, and how painful and scary the whole thing looked. Just as I was thinking maybe now he'll have a little more empathy for me, he said, "I feel sorry for Dad having to watch that five times."

Okay. I SO totally get that attitude! Life with five men has been an eye opener. I let go of such expectations a LONG ago. Thanks for the laugh! [rofl]

lol, that's funny. But I did feel bad for Adam when Tammy had her baby a few days ago. The poor guy was so worried, and crying. It must be hard to watch and not be able to do much.

that's too funny. but I'm with Leslie, life with ALL testosterone bearing beasts is a REAL eyeopener. (not that my boys and beasts, but at the dinner table, you wouldn't argue it, LOL)
