Well, I finally figured out how I could keep DD from pulling her diaper off. Really, it was quite simple. I just put diaper pins on her diaper. She has only been able to wriggle out of one so far. She has moved on to bigger fish to fry.....DOORS! She has learned to open doors. So now all the most unsafe rooms have those hook & eye latches on them(the type you see on screen doors).
So my question about cloth diapers is. I really want to invest in some. Since we are planning on having more children and DD really won't be in them much longer. I invested all my money way back when into the Gerber ones(bought about forty..with the vinyl pants and pins). Which are horrible  They leak something awful. I want to invest in some good ones. But, I am probably going to have to go used. Also I really can not afford a start up of 100.00 or more. I need to do a little at a time. I am also wanting a one size fits all kind. Any suggestions on where I should begin and where I should go. So far it's been discouraging...I tried ebay...but, the prices are outrageous  So I am open to suggestions...lay um on me.

Mother-ease one size are the way to go.
They have starter packages on their site. I forget the price. But that may be a bit more than you are ready to spend right now. I can understand that. Just know that they are cheaper than soooooo many others you will find. And they're good!
I got started with them when #2 was a little over a year. I am still using them today, 7 years later. They're on their 4th kid :)
You could probably find them used somewhere as well. Sorry, not ready to give mine up hehe
They 'say' they fit from..like...8-35# ?? But, I (as well as many others) have found they really don't fit newborns well. I splurged and got designated newborn fitted diapers for #3. Then around 3 months they have all fit into the MotherEase (MEs) well. And mine have all fit them until potty training age. Which, with mine, has been until around 2yr. With one scrawny buns...that was actually #2, the first to use them, he was then potty trained maybe 3 months after investing in cloth haha...then a medium buns and a chunkier buns. I like the ME AirFlow side snap covers. You will need probably 4 of those in the various sizes. But you can just buy them as you need them.

I can't remember any of the used diaper sites. Seems like one was called diaper swap ?? and maybe diaper pin ? and one was...something like...Amity's ? I've not been in the diaper circuit in quite a while so I'm not sure of the names nor do I have the web addresses. But a google search can produce much. And if from there you have questions about certain sites/products...just ask away. I may know some of the names that are still hanging around. But the work at home mom brands can come and go in just a year or two..another good thing about ME...they're still there next time you go looking for them :)

Anywho, hth a bit, let me know if you need anything else.

We are a Fuzzi Bunz family, and if you want some we needed so many I just started my own web shop, LOL. I have been diapering for more than 7 years straight! I always give C'Moms a discount.

the other thing you could try to save your Gerbers is get some lay in doublers, and a couple of really nice wool covers. I used wool over all my AIOs I bought (back when I bought 'cute' instead of workhorse diapers...) and it worked wonderfully.
