What is it in pregnancy that you can feel so dog tired and then hypo at the same time? I want to have a nap during the day but when I lay down I can't sleep, it's like I am tired but with adrenalin at the same time LOL. I usually end up reading and thinking "should really be napping right now"

Man I HATE that... you would KILL for a nap... the opportunity presents itself then you lay there.... NEVER falling asleep!!! I hate hate hate it! And it only happens to me WHILE I am pregnant... After the baby is born I can sleep for hours at a time during the day if the kids are cooperative...

Yep...same here! Except the night part. Once I fall asleep, I stay that way (usually), but it's getting to sleep that's the problem! As soon as my head hits the pillow, I start thinking of everything I didn't do during the day or all the things that I should do THAT very second or it will never get done blah blah blah. :roll:

:x :x :x Talking of SLEEPING and not sleeping - RRRR we have this pint sized terrier which is actually my husbands dog - because I don't actually like dogs they are just too needy LOL! Anyway, the dog stays inside all day and sleeps around the house, but she STINKS to high heaven - lately she has gone from having one sleep spot to many and she is dragging her pong all over the place - I know that sounds OT and nothing to do with sleeping but I wake up last night to HEAR the dog in my BEDROOM chewing and licking her feet in the dead of night and robbing me of my precious sleep :wink: ... I said to DH "What is the dog doing in here? Did you forget to lock her out?" he says sleepily "nooo, I felt sorry for her it's freezing outside" RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR - she HAS a kennel you know. The feet chewing and licking was so amplified in the night time silence it was keeping me up so I wrapped my pillow around my head.

I have put teatree wash on the dog to get rid of the smell - but really I am a cat person, so I can't tolerate the dog let alone the dog keeping me up at night UGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
