Just wondering how everyone's children/child reacted to your new baby? I have 15 weeks to go of my pregnancy which is still a while but I keep trying to imagine how it will be with boy/girl twins and a newborn.

I am actually kind of relaxed about it is at the moment the twins are really in full swing with independant play, or play with each other.... and not so much hanging off my leg as they used to?

Does including the other children with nappie changes/bathing help assumulate them and make them feel more included.

My midwife seems to think the situation is perfect because the twins have always had another child within the pecking order so know how to share naturally.

They keep asking me to go to the doctor and get the baby out NOW LOL

I think that 3 1/2 years is the perfect age difference. My ds was 3 1/2 when I had my dd and he showed NO signs of jealousy at all. I was so worried about it before I had her but he loved her from the start and wanted to help me change her and take care of her. I know things will work out for you also.

That is so funny about going and getting the baby out. I remember my son saying that too! Stephanie

I think you kids will do great with the new baby. My daughter was 2 and 4 months when my baby boy was born and she's been SO awesome with him! :D I made it a point when i was pregnant to let her know there was a baby inside my belly (since she knew what a baby was) and she would say hi baby and give my belly a kiss. She really loves kids and babies so i'm sure she is so thrilled to have one of her own. And like you mentioned it may be easier for your twins because they have already learned to share toys and mommy. Like Stephanie said guys will do great! :)
