So Christine Caine was at our church on Sunday and also did the Sunday night leadership meeting. She rocks the house :)! So I wanted to share some of what she said because it really spoke to me.
5 Things That do Not Change in any Challenge
1. Things will need to be cut away.
Joshua 5:1-5
The new generation had to pay thier own price, the price their father's had paid was not enough for them. There is a new price paid at every level of leadership.
Things that may need to be cut away...
- Relationships
- Pursuits that take you away from the purpose of God
- Attitudes
- Offenses
- Entitlements
Hebrews 12:1
Weights and sins are different. Weights can be relationships, or levels of thinking, levels of giving.
Call a spayde a spayde when it comes to sin. Stop trying to justify it and just call it what it is so you can deal with it accordingly.
2. Be daily filled with Jesus.
Joshua 5:10
Before they possesed, they were filled. If you're not full of Him then what are you giving everyone else?
3. Move on from where you are.
Joshua 5:11-12
Do it as a whole. As a team.
Don't fall pray to the thinking "we've never done it that way before." It's time to dig your own wells and plant your own corn. Work hard. Live in the moment and give your future to God.
4. See what God sees [in you]
See it how God sees it. See the potential in people. And see circumstances how God sees them.
5. Say what God says

God's ways are not are ways, His battle plans are very strange ;).
Vs. 10 - he stopped the complaining.
Our mouths need to be aligned with God's word or say nothing at all.
