Today's Verse from the New Living Translation
Then I will sing praises to your name forever
as I fulfill my vows each day.
Psalm 61:8
Encouragement for Today
David made a vow to praise God each day. David continually praised God through both the good and difficult times of his life. Do you find something to praise God for each day? As you do, you will find your heart elevated from daily distractions to lasting confidence.

Those who know You, Lord, will trust You; You do not abandon anyone who comes to You.
I PTL today because God goes before me to guide me, He is inside of me to strengthen me, He is beside me holding my hand, and He is behind me guarding my back.
God is so good.

Today's Verse from the New Living Translation
Praise the LORD, all you nations.
Praise him, all you people of the earth.
For he loves us with unfailing love;
the LORD's faithfulness endures forever.
Psalm 117:1, 2
Encouragement for Today
Have you ever said, "I can't think of anything God has done for me. How can I praise him?" This psalm gives two reasons for praising God: his great love toward us, and his faithfulness that endures forever. If he did nothing else for us, he would still be worthy of our highest praise.

Made For Praise
READ | Psalm 100:1-5
Take some time today to reflect on God's mighty work of salvation in your life. Instead of approaching the Lord with a list of requests, simply praise Him for His faithfulness and righteousness. When your heart is full of praise, worries will wash away. And you'll trust God to provide for your needs in His own timing.

Can we each take a day & praise Him, reflect on all the wonders He has given us? Maybe (if you want) even share your praises with us.
God Bless,
GenLovesDen4ever 08-08-2007, 02:22 AM I want to praise the Lord for keeping my family together thru all kinds of impossible and difficult circumstances. He has been with us thru them all. I praise Him for his patience and willingness to not give up on us.
HLButterfly 08-08-2007, 10:46 AM Heavenly Father,
I sing praises to You for another sunny day and I thank You for all of the children being able to attend VBS this week at my church! They all are having such a great time learning of You. I thank You Lord, for C-Mom's, the support, encouragement, and just the listening "ear," leaning "shoulder" offered to every here. You Father are wonderful, words cannot describe how grateful I am to know You. Thank You for Your guidance, patience, grace, mercy, and love.
I worship You Father, through songs of praise; and I thank You that I have a voice to worship You with; and I thank You that there are others out in this world that come up with the songs that we all sing to give You praise! Shouting for joy, Father; and being so grateful that Your love endures forever.
In Jesus' name, amen.
