View Full Version : Where are you in your cycle?
savedbygrace 07-14-2007, 01:26 AM I think I am 8dpo however, I had one temp that was disturbed so I either O'd on the 13th or the 15th, but not 100%sure. I think it was the 13th though, my cp was high soft and OPEN!!! on the 15th it was still high, but firmer, and not as open. But we'll see. My temps are above coverline, but they are sliding downnnnnnnnnnnn! :x
I'm not really bloated this time, atleast not yet! But I don't think my body is ever the same each month.
How about you guys? Any new symptoms, changes???? Anything?
buttercup_97140 07-14-2007, 03:23 AM who knows! LOL
I have spotted three times this month. I totally thought AF was here on Monday or Tuesday, but it's really only spotting. I does seem like it's almost trying to become a real AF, but it's taking its sweet sweet time.
I would say CD34, and if I o'd you would never know by my temps. They are like a roller-coaster on caffeine!
I would be A-OK with AF being here, I just wish it would make up it's mind.
Blessings,
Amber
Mine is tricky, too b/c PPAF has yet to show up. I haven't bf in almost 3 weeks. According to my temps I O'd last week and am 4 DPO but who knows! My temps are going down but still not below the coverline....
savedbygrace 07-14-2007, 11:27 AM JILL do you have a link to your chart?
Yes...Here it is. I would love any help you can offer!!!!
http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/1b2cd6
savedbygrace 07-14-2007, 06:01 PM In addition to track your cm, also check your cervical positon, texture(firm, medium or soft) and if it is closed, medium or open. When you go to chart the second tab says secondary, you can put the information in the appropriate slot.
FF says I O'd on the 13th but another program says I O'd on the 15th. But because I checked my cp, It was high, soft and open on the 13th and high, medium and medium closed on the 15th, so I think I o'd on the 13th as well. But if I didn't check my cp I would be confused.
and Just because you haven't had your ppaf doesn't mean you're not fertile. so just keep keeping track of things!
Babydust being blown your way! :D
Thanks! Did you become a member to FF? Do you think it's worth it? It seems so easy and helpful...
savedbygrace 07-14-2007, 08:49 PM I use FF, but I am not a member. There is one that I have used on a trial basis and I really loved it, but it is a one time fee of $40.00. Which I don't think is too bad. It is the Taking Charge of Your Fertility software. You can try it out for free, just type in Taking Charge of Your Fertility software in google and you'll get the sight.
One thing that FF does have and it is free, you can take a "class" on ttc. They send lessons to your email, and then you can do a little test after review each lesson. You learn a lot. I even saved the lessons in a important file in my email in case I need to revere back to it.
buttercup_97140 07-15-2007, 01:37 AM correction to my post...I am on day 1 today! LOL AF finally started for real. I almost felt like I was running in place for a long time, but now I am able to move forward! :D
It feels so weird getting back into temping. I only did my temps for 2 weeks before I got my BPF with Noah and I hadn't temped since I got pg with Emma in Nov. of 2004. I love how the Lord made it possible for us to see what our bodies are doing. He is amazing!
Jill, did you stop bfing because you wanted to TTC or for other reasons? I wonder if PPAF will catch up to you...I got mine at 9 months PP with Emma.
Blessings,
Amber
Amber,
I had several reasons for stopping bf. One of which was TTC. But, it was truly a God thing! I was praying about what to do bc we wanted to start to TTC and ds started weaning himself! Our Lord is amazing!!!! He was very fussy while bf and biting me often. I remember the first day I tried formula from the bottle and he was the happiest he had been in weeks...I do miss it though!
I love charting my temps and seeing how amazing our bodies are. It really is awesome!
OK, so check out my chart...my temps went up again!?! What does that mean???
buttercup_97140 07-15-2007, 10:50 AM Jill,
Wow, it's so nice when things work out for that way! It's hard to know what to say about your chart because of not having a PPAF. I do know, and have experienced implantation dips, but again without AF, it's hard to know if your body is oing or just trying to figure out what's going on after you stopped bfing. KWIM?
Blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 07-15-2007, 01:51 PM Ok, so I just recently started temping...like July 1st was the first day of my cycle. I've been keeping tract on FF and things seemed to be going well. It seems like I o'd and I was ok at checking CF. This was my first time off the BCP also. Then 5 DPO, AF started - really heavy. Is this normal after getting off the BCP?? I've felt really weird - extremely weepy the day before AF started and also weird "down there". Any thoughts for me from the 'pros'?
savedbygrace 07-15-2007, 06:18 PM JILL Since your temps are up and down I'd say that you haven't O'd yet, You may either O late or have an Anovulatory cycle. Which is common if you haven't had AF yet. But keep temping.
Pianomama It is normal for AF just to show up after getting off of BCP. Sometimes it will take up to a year for your body to jump back on track, and for your hormones to get back to normal. But some get off of it and get pregnant the next month because things seem to be normal. But keep temping, even through AF because you'll see a difference in your temps and eventually see a pattern form.
Well my temps have gone up some, so I'm wondering how this month is gonna work out for me. I've really at a place of peace right now with ttc. For me God has truly put my mind at ease. But I agree with you ladies, I think it is exciting to see the changes in our bodies just by temping. Just another reason to prove God's existence!!!! :D
jenrod1989 07-16-2007, 12:15 AM Hello all. I am on CD 27 of 28 days cycle. Not quite sure what is going on with my body. I am on letrozole this month. If it doesn't work next month will be my first IUI. We have been trying for 12 cycles. 1st month with a RE.
My Sister-in-Law just emailed she was pregnant again with their 4th on the first try.
Please pray it works this month...

Jen, I hope this month is your month, but if not remember that God knows what He's doing. Sometimes I think Satan puts pregnant people into our view to discourage us and to doubt God and whether He is listening. But He hears you and He loves you. Keep your eyes focused upward and wait for your blessing to fall upon you! Pray for God's will and to give you comfort and peace, but also the strength to accept His will regaurdless of what it may be.
I've been praying this and I have finally received that peace.
Hang in there. And i'll be praying for you!
PianoMama 07-16-2007, 09:15 AM Thanks for the advice, Esther! I'm not really used to AF coming with so much force. It makes me nervous when I use the bathroom sometimes! Anyway, look like you only have 2 or 3 days until you test?! Let us know!!
buttercup_97140 07-16-2007, 06:15 PM Piano,
I agree with Esther, BCPs can really make things go crazy for a while. It may take a while for your body to realize what's going on and get back into the swing of things. If you notice your AF getting all crazy out of control bleeding, I would talk to your doc. My first PPAF after my Dd was so heavy and lasted so long that I was on my way to bleeding to death. I had to go on BCPs for a month to get it regulated. Our bodies are such complicated things and need to be in such a perfect balance. I hope your body figures out what's going on soon!
Jen, I hope you get your BFP. I just looked up Letrozole online and it said it should only be used by women who are in menopause because it can harm a fetus......is your doctor using this med for fertility? Did I look up the wrong med?
We were almost to the IUI stage, but we were blessed with our daughter after three rounds of clomid and good old fashion BD. Dh's has olympic swimmers! LOL
Esther, I hope you get your BFP this month! When will you be testing?
Blessings,
Amber
Well girls, here is the update...
I took a few hpt and one came up positive but very faint and after the 10 min time limit (which I know means it's invalid) and the other 2 were negative. I am going on a trip with my family to Jackson Hole WY to horseback ride which I can't do if I am pg.
So I called the obgyn and they said that PPAF should have returned by now and I need to get blood work done to see if I am pg. I asked if I should take another HPT and they said that false negs are common so just to wait and get the blood test.
I have had strange pg symptoms like really sensitive sense of smell, dizziness and light headedness, headaches and I am tired.
Of course all of these things could be something else.
I am giving this to God constantly and I know that HE is in control and that he knows when our family will grow. It is so comforting to know that!
I do feel that I am sort of overreacting bc my gut tells me that I am not pg...
Thanks for your ears! I am praying for all of you for BFP's!
savedbygrace 07-18-2007, 10:43 AM JillI hope this month is it for you. But it is nice having God's peace over you :D I'm 13dpo here and I still haven't tested, my temp is still up but I feel like I'll probably start anyday. It's a good thing God's peace really sustains us.
buttercup_97140 07-18-2007, 11:44 AM Esther,
What's your longest LP? I hope that you are having so much patience waiting to test because this is your month! Keep us updated!
Blessings,
Amber
Esther,
You know I am praying!!!
savedbygrace 07-18-2007, 03:15 PM Thanks Amber and Jill, I am excited, This is only my 2nd month charting accuretly so I'm not sure what my Lp is. Last month it was 13. I don't know what day I O'd for sure, but if it was the 15th then I'm 11dpo. Af is suppose to show on sat. but we'll see, and amazinly enough He has given me the grace and patience to wait it out. But my chart does look a lot different than last months! So I am excited, but not overly anxious. God is good!
Jill you keep us posted!
Amber,
What's going on with your cycle?
buttercup_97140 07-18-2007, 10:07 PM Well, we are with you either way it turns out Esther! Of course we are praying for a BFP, but the Lord does know, and that's awesome!
Jill,
Did you get your blood work done yet? If you got a faint + on the 16th, then the hCG levels would have risen enough by now to get a real +, or at least a darker line. If you have another test, I say test with tomorrow's first morning urine...since it's the strongest.
And just FYI, horseback riding really isn't forbidden while pg. I know many women who rode through their whole pg. I am sure it's said to be a no-no because of the chance of falling off or something, but if you are secure in your riding, and it's not incredibly bumpy, you should be ok. Heck, my doc told me to keep running all through my pg if I wanted. :D
My cycle...I am done with AF it seems. I probably spotted half of the lining away, so Af was short and pretty light most of the time. It did have a day that was regular, maybe two, but I am so happy it's over!
I am also going to start taking Metformin again. I actually started it right around the time I got pg with Noah, but had to stop before I knew I was pg because it was causing DD to have an upset tummy. She's still nursing, but she is older, and doesn't nurse as much, so I pray she does well with it. I am considering and praying about weaning, so we will see if that has to be done too.
Keep me updated girls!!
blessings,
Amber
buttercup_97140 07-20-2007, 11:50 AM Esther,
I saw your dip...
It's a hard road sometimes TTC. It took us 2 1/2 years to get pg the second time, and then we m/c. But looking back, the Lord totally knew what he was doing, and I am so thankful to that!
Blessings,
Amber
Well ladies...AF is here! I am actually really excited because now I can start to track acurately and TTC. I will keep you updated! It's so strange b/c I haven't had her in 18 mos!
buttercup_97140 07-22-2007, 11:42 AM I totally know what you mean Jill. I pray you get a really good O and get that BFP!
Blessings,
Amber
p.s. is it possible to O on cd8? I wonder if my temp was just up for some reason.
Amber,
Not sure if you can O on day 8 but everyone's body is different so maybe!?
AF is so terrible this month! I knew my first PPAF would be bad but this stinks!
BUT, I am glad that I can start charting...God is so good! I prayed for something to happen (either a BFP or PPAF) so I know what was going on and He answered! :D
buttercup_97140 07-24-2007, 02:27 AM Oh PTL that you see your answered prayer. Make sure you watch your AF this month. After my first PPAF almost landed me in the hospital, I am anxious when someone says they are having a hard one. If you see it getting heavier and heavier with lots of clots for more than a few days, make sure to tell your doc, your hormones could be messed up a bit.
I hope your eggies are gearing up!
Blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 07-24-2007, 06:09 PM What does ovulation feel like? I've heard of 'ovulation pain'. Does it feel like AF is coming? I think I felt something like that yesterday, but I'm not sure. I had the same feeling last cycle when FF said I O'd. I don't know!!!
thanks,
kate
savedbygrace 07-24-2007, 11:40 PM O pains are only on one side, everyone is somewhat different but, usually it feels like a sharp pinch or pain. Imagine the egg bursting out and into the fallopian tubes. That's what causes the pain. If your pain is on the right side, then that is the side your egg was released from and vise versa.
myjoyoverflows 07-25-2007, 10:27 PM CD 16...I believe that I'm ovulating now...I'm getting those pains on the right side and I have EWCM!!
savedbygrace 07-26-2007, 10:18 AM CD 16...I believe that I'm ovulating now...I'm getting those pains on the right side and I have EWCM!!
Sending you sticky vibes for your eggie's!!! :D
PianoMama 07-27-2007, 09:50 AM I know this question has been asked before...but I forget the answer! Approximately when does implantation take place and what does it feel like? Can your nipples start hurting after conception and before implantation or just after implantation?
Funny story:
Two days ago, ds and I were eating dinner together and out of the blue he said, "Baby". I asked him, "What do you mean? Where's the baby?" He said, "In my tummy" and lifted up his shirt!  It was hilarious!!!
THEN, yesterday he said it again, "Baby" and again I asked him where the baby was and this time he said, "In Mommy's tummy"   I didn't even know what to say!! It would be really weird if I end up being pregnant this cycle...
Just had to share,
Kate
savedbygrace 07-27-2007, 12:02 PM That is too cute!
Implantation occurs from 7-12 days, depending on your cycle length. Most women have implantation on day 8 according to some research I read about. You can't neccasarily feel it, though some think they know the exact day they conceived. Sometimes you can have implantation bleeding. But sensitive nipples are a sign of pregnancy if it is not common for you. Look for things that may be out of the norm for yourself. Journal it so you have something to look back on. But also our bodies can come up with new signs that AF is coming.
Sending you some baby dust!!!!
buttercup_97140 07-29-2007, 12:57 AM That's funny Piano, My DD said something like that to me when I was like 3 or 4 days pg with Noah....come to find out she was right! I hope your little guy is too!
blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 07-29-2007, 06:31 AM Somebody please take a look at my chart - what is going on with my temps?!?!! Today's temp was taking 45 minutes earlier than usual because we get up for church really early. TIA...
~kate~
buttercup_97140 07-29-2007, 06:21 PM Kate, it could be a pre-o temp, lots of times your temp can crash right before you O. See what tomorrow brings!
Amber
savedbygrace 07-29-2007, 07:53 PM Wow your chart is really up and down! Have you been doing anything different? Sleeping with a fan or ac on, anything? You may be an O dip, but you won't know for sure until tomorrow. Have you been stressed? sometimes stress can cause you to O later than normal.
Another thing is, you might want to keep track of your LP, last month seemed really short, and if you have a really short LP than you are not producing enough progestrone and therefore can not get pregnant. So just keep an eye on that I believe a healthy LP should not be shorter than 12 days.
PianoMama 07-29-2007, 10:46 PM Well, nothing too radically different. I've been really good about taking my temp at the same time each morning with 3+ hours of sleep beforehand. Fan and AC always on...I have been stressed with finances recently and getting a new pastor. But, nothing else is new. My last cycle was the first off of BCP. So, I really think that my body is trying to regulate itself...but I'm not totally sure! I do go to the OBGYN next week for a yearly exam. So, I'll bring my charts and see what she says!
Other weird things: I've been crying a lot recently. Just uncontrolably. Could just be stress, could be lack of BCP, right? Also, my skin is different. Much more oily on my face...
I'm getting a bit frustrated with the lack of orderliness of my chart. I thought everything would be so obvious and easy to understand. I guess not...
Thanks for all your suggestions...I really mean it. My hubby isn't really interested in all the details, but it's so nice to have women that care. Peace to you all! I will continue to keep you updated...
How's everyone else's cycle going??
~kate~
savedbygrace 07-30-2007, 12:45 AM Charting does get easier! So don't give up. I forgotten that you have just gotten off of BCP, so yes that does play a big part. Plus with the emotions and oily skin, i'd say your hormones are trying to regulate itself! Just keep it up, you're doing everything right! And as long as you have EWCM keep on BDing! Sometimes your temp won't tell you much but your CM will tell you everything!!!
Stress can cause you to O late, exspecially if your emotional. So lets just wait to see what tomorrows temp brings!!!
buttercup_97140 07-30-2007, 12:05 PM Looking at today's temp, I would say you have a pre-o dip, but the more temps you have, the more you can tell!
Blessings,
Amber
buttercup_97140 08-01-2007, 12:41 AM Well ladies, I think I o'd yesterday or today. I was walking around today and felt this sharp stab on my left side, and then it was gone. Never had something like that, I wonder if it was O or gas!
Dh and I hadn't DTD in a while, and I was talking to the Lord about how he puts it in our bodies to want to make love so we can time it with O. I got pg with Noah and Dh and I had only DTD I think twice in that whole cycle! I asked the Lord to make it possible and put it in our desire to BD when he knew it was right. Not saying that the Lord told us to BD to get pg or anything, but I was finding myself getting stressed about not having DTD for a while, and I had to sit back and remind myself that the Lord knows when our next child will be conceived, even if it is to happen. I am pretty sure he will help us get into the right situation to conceive if it was in his will for us to get pg. KWIM? Maybe I am talking gibberish, but right before I had some serious EWCM, We DTD and may have been able to catch an eggie. Only time will tell, but it's amazing how the Lord works in EVERY part of our lives.
I hope I made some sort of sense...sometimes it doesn't come out right! LOL
Kate, sure looks like you O'd, hope you caught that eggie!!
Blessings,
Amber
Amber,
Your continued faith in the Lord and looking at everything keeping Him in mind is so refreshing! I am thankful for you, for all of you girls!!!
Still praying for lots of BFP's around here :D
PianoMama 08-01-2007, 09:46 AM Dh and I hadn't DTD in a while, and I was talking to the Lord about how he puts it in our bodies to want to make love so we can time it with O. I know what you mean, Amber! I was thinking a few days ago that it's interesting that God gives us (and our DHs) the desire to bd around the right time! So cool...
I go to see my dr. tomorrow, so I'll bring her my charts and see what she says!
~kate~
myjoyoverflows 08-02-2007, 12:20 AM I'm CD 23...AF is due around the 7th....if she doesn't show up before then, I'm going to be testing that day....
I will be praying Chelsie! Great new pic too!!!!
buttercup_97140 08-02-2007, 03:20 PM Well ladies, I honestly think AF is here already. If she is, I did O on day 8 like I thought, or my hormones are just so out of whack! So, having AF twice in three weeks...so not fun! LOL
Yeah Chelsie! I hope you get a nice BFP!!!!
Kate, I'm surprised FF hasn't given you cross bars yet. I doesn't seem to put them up as readily as they use to. Good thing? I have no idea! haahaa!! Hopes for a BFP in your corner too!
Blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 08-02-2007, 04:37 PM Kate, I'm surprised FF hasn't given you cross bars yet. I doesn't seem to put them up as readily as they use to. Good thing? I have no idea! haahaa!! Hopes for a BFP in your corner too!
Yeah, me too! I really don't know what that means...but it *is* just a computer program, right?? So, I continue charting.
I went to the gyno today and after looking at my charts, she said that I'm being very thorough in my charting and such. I am a bit nervous because she said that I have itty bitty cysts under each of my nipples. It started freaking me out, but she said it could just be AF coming. SO, I have to go back a week after AF arrives. BUT, I'm not sure when that will be, so I guessed and made an appointment. She said not to worry, so I'm trying not to...
Just feeling a bit uneasy... :?
buttercup_97140 08-03-2007, 12:46 AM Ugg Kate, that doesn't sound fun having cysts under your nipples. I wouldn't worry if your doc isn't too upset about it. I know lots of women have normal cysts in their breasts.
Yeah for the good charting! I hope you don't have to go back because AF came, just for your 8 week prenatal!
Well, I am confused now....I thought AF had come, but I haven't had anything but that one time in the bathroom. Last cycle I spotted 3 times before AF came, so I am sure it's just my hormones getting all confused again! LOL
blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 08-03-2007, 06:52 AM I FINALLY HAVE A DPO COUNT!!!!!! Woohoo - I was starting to think it was going to take FOREVER!!! hehe We'll see what happens... :)
myjoyoverflows 08-03-2007, 07:56 AM I FINALLY HAVE A DPO COUNT!!!!!! Woohoo - I was starting to think it was going to take FOREVER!!! hehe We'll see what happens... :)
Yay! :D I hope this is it for you!
I am at day 12 and I think I am beginning to O!? Maybe this will be my month...
I am leaving on vacation tomorrow for the week :D I will be praying for all of you! Talk to you when I return!
PianoMama 08-03-2007, 09:39 AM Enjoy your vacay, Jill! Sending baby dust your way!! See you when you get back :D
~kate~
Aalena 08-03-2007, 10:49 AM Just wanted to stop in and let you ladies know you're in my prayers.
buttercup_97140 08-03-2007, 09:37 PM Awww, Cindy, you are so sweet! Thank you!
Yeah Kate! LOL I still don't have any cross bars, but then again, i thought AF was here, and now she isn't.......haahaa!! I hope these are the last set of bars you will see for a long time! :-D
Bye Jill! Have a great vacation..and forget the site-seeing, stay in and BD!
Esther...how's it going?
Blessings,
Amber
buttercup_97140 08-04-2007, 01:42 PM scratch that! LOL AF came like 5 min after I posted last. Literally! Haahaa! It was very light last night, so I just put spotting in FF and then when I input my temp today, I got cross bars! Just in time to start a new cycle!
That by far was the shortest cycle I have ever had...not too sure how I feel about having AF every three weeks! Lets hope this cycle is more normal!
Blessings,
Amber
savedbygrace 08-04-2007, 08:43 PM Pianomom Congratulations on being post O!!! Did you BD in time??? praying it sticks!!!
Amber Don't you hate that? Last month I started to get a little excited and went and bought HPT's and I came home and AF started! Cruel!
But maybe next month.
As for me, it's been crazy. According to FF I haven't Ovulated, I was suppose to O either yesterday or the day before, but not yet according to my temp. Which is kinda nice because we've been too tired to BD around the time I was suppose to O. Not to mention we were camping with my in-laws in the same tent! I'm CD16, and I don't recall O this late before.
White Rose 08-04-2007, 11:08 PM Hi. I'm on Cycle Day 3.
I keep praying for that "good egg" to come along one of these months. I'll be 40 in December, so I know time is of the essence!
buttercup_97140 08-04-2007, 11:52 PM Hey Esther...guess the Lord was being gracious and giving you time to BD before he popped one of your eggs out! :D And yeah, bding in the same tent where someone else is sleeping...not so much fun! LOL
Hi Kelly.....I hope you get that good egg too! The Lord sure knows, and that's such a comfort!
Blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 08-05-2007, 03:00 PM Ok so, I'm not sure we did BD at the right time. We were doing every other day...through out my EWCM....but according to FF I o'd later than I thought I did. We'll see! We're still trying to 'get the hang' of this TTC stuff!! hehe
Also, why do I still have EWCM if I'm past O day? Why is my CP still high/soft/open if I've already O'd? I thought all those symptoms were supposed to change to indicate O has occured...any answers for me?
Hope things go well with you all this cycle!!
hugs,

buttercup_97140 08-05-2007, 04:58 PM Kate...no answers for you my dear. I don't know much about CP, but I do know that sometimes what we eat or drink can affect our CM. I know for sure that a sperm can live up to 5 days in the right condition. I got pg that way....LOL! I am sure if the Lord wants you pg, he will keep those little guys swimming!!! :D You should know before too long though, so I will keep praying for you!
Not sure what's going on in my uterus. I think AF is here, but it's more spotting than anything. Seriously, if this is AF, I wonder if it's so light because I just had one three weeks ago. Who knows, so irritating!
blessings,
Amber
PianoMama 08-05-2007, 10:57 PM I know for sure that a sperm can live up to 5 days in the right condition. I got pg that way....LOL!
Are you serious?!?!!? I had no idea...I thought it was only like 2! That's so encouraging. There's still hope for me this cycle!! :D :D So, I guess I'm waiting for signs of implantation then, right??
Amber, hope your uterus figures out what's going on!
Esther, hope your camping trip was fun - do you enjoy camping or are you glad to be home again? We missed you!!
~kate~
savedbygrace 08-05-2007, 11:23 PM Well, Cp doesn't do much, Mine usually stays higher up throughout my cycle. The more you document it, you'll see what is normal for your body. Now sperm can live for 5 days with fertile CM, if you are dry, then the sperm dies like in 30min. and your vaginal secretion is acutually toxic to sperm.(the opposite of fertile cm)
Remember that your body is still regulating itself. and yes there are certain things that can increase your cm. Like greentea.
As for me, my temps still don't show that I o'd! I don't know what the deal is, But i'm not worried about it, this month has been hectic! I had a blast camping! It was the first time to camp out at the lake and we just had a great time.
myjoyoverflows 08-06-2007, 12:57 AM I think that I ovulated late....AF is due on Tuesday..but I'm having no sign of her..I took a test and it was a BFN...but I wasn't expecting any different. I'm going to take a test again on either the 9th or 11th if AF hasn't showed....
buttercup_97140 08-08-2007, 03:38 AM Ok, so I am totally confused! LOL! I thought AF came, then I thought it didn't. Then I thought it did, then I thought it didn't. I have had Af since I was 11 years old, you would think I would get the hang of this by now!
Anyways, I had about 4 or 5 days of spotting, one day had more than the rest, but it still was barely enough for a pad (which is totally annoying to have to wear a pad just in case). I figured that I had a very light AF due to it being so close to my last AF. Well, the last few days I have "felt" pg. I am not one to get nauseated unless I am pg or have the stomach flu. (I have had the stomach flu maybe twice in my life, so you can see how NOT often I am nauseated!) I knew I was pg with Noah because I got nauseated after I ate, which I had with Emma's pg. So, I started feeling that two or three days ago. I have also had some cramping like I do with AF but it was after my spotting. My CM is also weird. I have tons of EWCM, but have had lots of it for a while now. I have some dollar tree pg tests, for when I "need" them (LOL) so I took one today just to see. It was a nice BFN! I wonder if my hormones are all out of whack, and that is making me feel pg. I am fine with not being pg, I would love to be blessed again, but I rest very comfortably in the Lord's timing. I just don't like feeling pg without getting a baby out of it! haahaa!!
I didn't use first morning urine, so I may try that tomorrow and see what happens, but I don't "think" I am pg, I just feel it. KWIM?
Time will tell eventually I guess. I just like to know what's going on right away...ahh to be patient!
I hope you are all doing well. I look forward to some beautiful BFPs from you ladies!
Blessings,
Amber
savedbygrace 08-08-2007, 11:13 AM Amber, I wish I lived close to you! I love your positive outlook on things, and your spirit is so tender and sweet.
I O'd really late. like on cd17!! So AF should be late if FF is accurate. We shall see.
I'm now 3dpo.
But this is my question. When FF timed my O, my cervix was closed???? Could that still be right? I dunno this month is wacky!
buttercup_97140 08-08-2007, 10:15 PM You are so sweet Esther, I am sure you would think differently if you had to see me everyday! LOL
I think, by your temps, that you did O that day, but remember, even if it feels closed, you only need a teeny tiny opening for those suckers to make it through! Who knows if it really has to seem open for you to get pg. Heck, you have had BD when your cervix is wide open before right? Obviously, this is in the Lord's hands!
I hope you finally get your BFP this month. It took us 2.5 years to get pg the 2nd time around, and over a year + clomid to get pg with Emma, so I know how hard it is to try every month. May the Lord bless your heart with patience!
Blessings,
Amber
myjoyoverflows 08-09-2007, 06:17 AM I tested this morning...BFN...AF should be showing any day now....
savedbygrace 08-09-2007, 11:00 AM Sorry about your BFN Chels~ Those hpt can be so discouraging! But no matter what, God is always good and in control!

Thanks Esther...I know that God's in control...I'm not going to entirely lost hope this cycle until AF shows up....'cause I've been feeling really, really queezy lately...so....we'll see I guess!
PianoMama 08-10-2007, 02:32 PM Any more news, Chelsie? Did AF show up? I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN... :(
How long does the LP usually last? I realize that mine is still 'establishing' itself because of going off BCP recently. But, I'm trying to figure out how to know if/when to test. I'm 10 DPO but on cycle day 28 I think. I'm guessing the DPO count is more important that the cycle day?
BTW, what does POS stand for?
Thanks for the help!

I totally stumbled upon this post but I just have to add that my son was conceived with sperm that lasted 7 days! I was charting at the time so I know when I O'd and when I was fertile - and we were careful to NOT have sex during any fertile times - but did have sex 7 days BEFORE I O'd - and what do you know? Super Gavin 9 months later ;).
myjoyoverflows 08-10-2007, 03:51 PM Any more news, Chelsie? Did AF show up? I'm really sorry to hear about your BFN... :(
Still no AF...and no sign of her coming...I'm REALLY hoping that this is it!!! I'm going to retest on Monday if she doesn't show up before then! :D
How is everyone doing emotionally? I know things over here have been really up and down. Any AF or pregnancy symptoms?

This is technically my first "2WW" although I'm not sure how long it will last...I go back and forth with whether I "feel" pregnant. KWIM? Sometimes I think all the signs I'm seeing point to prenancy and other times I think I'm just more in tune with my body now and I'm making things into something they aren't. :? Does that make sense? The rational side of me doesn't think I'm preggers. Then there's that little part that says, "but there is that chance..." I guess time will tell...Time with a capital "T".

I know EXACTLY what you mean!! I'm right there with you girlie! *hugs*
Taulbania 08-10-2007, 09:16 PM I guess I'm on day 4 of my cycle, but this one has been STRANGE! I usually have a really hard 5 - 7 day visit from AF (sorry if TMI), and this one came on with just a little brownish discharge, one day of some red blood, and then brownish again. IDK what's going on. I just wish I were "normal". LOL
PianoMama 08-11-2007, 07:04 AM Anyone know what a 'triphasic' cycle looks like?
~kate~
savedbygrace 08-11-2007, 12:57 PM Triphasic is when you have a spike after O and then after implantation you have another spike but all the temps stay above your previous highest temps.
PianoMama 08-11-2007, 01:58 PM I started having lower back pain after I woke up this morning...I've never had that before. Probably AF....
savedbygrace 08-11-2007, 02:57 PM It could be one of her signs, but don't lose hope until she actually comes.
Me on the other hand, I entered todays temp and FF changed when I O'd. This month is totally wacky. We'll see when she comes, and then I'll know for sure when I O'd. Also someone from another ttc board RAK'd me the TCOYF book, so I am so excited to have that.
I am back! I missed you girls! I am trying to catch up with everyone's cycle and you were all in my prayers during vacation.
I am 3 dpo (i think) bc my temps got messed up with traveling and altitude and that kind of thing. I am expecting af in 7-10 days but i already feel a little crampy. I will keep you posted!
savedbygrace 08-12-2007, 05:03 PM Well, I entered my temp in this morning and it changed my O day again, back to cd17... So i'm 7dpo.
Welcome back Jill, how was your trip?
PianoMama 08-12-2007, 09:33 PM Well, I entered my temp in this morning and it changed my O day again, back to cd17... So i'm 7dpo.
Was that back to your original O day, Esther?
No AF yet for me...I'm tempted to test at 14 DPO, Tuesday. Thoughts?
~kate~
buttercup_97140 08-13-2007, 01:25 AM Kate, I say if your temp doesn't go down more, or goes back up test, if not, I would wait another day or so. With that said, the day I got my BFP with Noah, my temps crashed! If you would have asked ANYONE, they would have said AF was on her way for sure! 9 months later, out popped our sweet little boy! :D
I think I finally O'd for sure, but will have to wait until tomorrow. I still am confused as to if my spotting was Af or not, so I am just leaving it as it is. I put my O date as yesterday, and looked at the due date forecaster to see what my due date would be if we conceived this cycle, and literally, it would be Noah's bday! That would be so cool!
Hope you get your BFP tomorrow Kate!
blessings,
Amber
savedbygrace 08-13-2007, 01:28 AM Yes, cd17 was what it first posted my O date as. I usually O around cd14 or cd15.
BFP's to you guys!!!! Let's see some temp's go up!!!!!
PianoMama 08-13-2007, 08:34 AM I put my O date as yesterday, and looked at the due date forecaster to see what my due date would be if we conceived this cycle, and literally, it would be Noah's bday! That would be so cool!
That would be so cool, Amber!!
My temp went down a bit yesterday and a bit more today. It's still above the coverline, so we'll see what happens tomorrow morning!!
BFPs to all!!
~kate~
myjoyoverflows 08-13-2007, 02:03 PM tested this morning, BFN.....no sign of AF...I'm kinda going insane. I'm on CD 35...16 dpo....grr......
buttercup_97140 08-13-2007, 08:30 PM Chelsie, do you have a chart? I'm sorry if I just don't see it but it's there!
blessings,
Amber
So exciting Chelsie! Keep us updated, you too Kate!
PianoMama 08-13-2007, 10:38 PM just an fyi...I will log my temp tomorrow morning, and then I'll probably not be online until Wednesday night. Dh has a business trip tomorrow and wednesday and ds and I are going along! I think that will help me not test until Thursday...I might know something by then either way!!
hugs to all,
Kate
myjoyoverflows 08-14-2007, 12:41 AM Chelsie, do you have a chart? I'm sorry if I just don't see it but it's there!
blessings,
Amber
I haven't been temping but I've been noting my CM each day...so, I don't really have a chart to look at or anything. According to the way that my CM was I ovulated on July 28th....
I bought a digital test....I'm going to try to hold off until Friday to take it though....we'll see what happens!
PianoMama 08-14-2007, 06:44 AM Anyone know what the '5' means on the stats line of my chart?? Temp is lower again today... :(
savedbygrace 08-14-2007, 11:07 AM The stats line also displays when appropriate a countdown (numbers from 5 to 1) to the test date starting 5 days before the recommended test date
