I am turning into a whiney baby! I am so tired of contractions that lead to NOTHING! :x
Yesterday from 2am to 2pm...moderate contractions every 12-13 minutes. They never got closer together, never changed in strength but came like clockwork. Then suddenly, nothing.
So, last night...feeling good (as I can at least). Slept from 9pm-1am. Couldn't get comfortable after that. Dozed a little til 5 then just got out of bed. No contractions though, just discomfort.
Between 10 and 11:30 this morning, they appear again. This time about 20 minutes apart, but MUCH stronger. Not the kind I can just go on with my work during. These really make me catch my breath. And now, almost an hour without one. And since I woke up at 1 today, have only felt one little punch/push/kick out of the baby.
Nurse says to keep watching and waiting. If no noticeable movement and contractions persist, to call back around 3 and come on in for them to check for dialation, but not to get too worried until they start getting closer together and stronger. Hmm...nows the time I wish I could check myself! Of course, I've never been able to even feel my own cervix for NFP methods, let alone know how to tell if I was dialated.
Ugh!!! Just stay or leave that's all I'm asking!!!! :x
Okay...vent over now. I apologize for the poor attitude. Just needed to get that out. I have to be thankful that God gave me a body to carry my child this far and I am blessed to know that even if he was born today, he would most likely be very healthy and have no problems. That's more than enough to be happy about. :D
