I'm an older mom who has already raised a daughter who's 19 years old. I am trying to find a sippy cup type or similar that my oldest daughter used to have that I can train my 1 year old how to really drink from a cup as I feel the sippy cups today are a bottle in disguise and don't provide the proper training.

What I'm looking for is a cup with a lid that is sunken about 1/2 inch and has 3 little holes so that when my daughter puts the cup up to her mouth to drink, the liquid fills the area and flows into her mouth rather than pouring all over herself if it didn't have this lid. Hopefully I'm making myself clear. Thank you!

Okay...VERY same idea, except instead of three holes in top, a ring around the rim that fills with liquid like drinking from a cup......Playtex makes them....I'd check their website or see about Babies r us, they carry it all! I don't remember where I got mine, sorry!

The cup that breezy's talking about is sold at Walmart, Target, Babies R Us, and even some local grocery stores. I used them too. The spout is along the regular cup line. It's not raised like the normal ones. Playtex is calling it the "grown up cup"

Thank you so much! I will check out Walmart next time I run into town and will pick one up. Thanks again!

After careful consideration on Bri's part, and lots of begging on Mama's, bri let me get a pic of his cuppa-up

these are playtex's cool tumblers

Patrick, 11 months, still prefers his spouted sippy cup, but Bri will be two in Oct. and he loves this cup

My oldest loves the Playtex Tumblers. She calls them her "coffee cup" and would we please fill it up with "coffee".
