Some of you may already of your toddlers sleeping in thier own rooms by themselves. Well Abby has slept in our room from day one. But as of a week ago, she has been sleeping by herself in her own room all night!! I am soooo proud of her. I think, I never really pushed it because I felt safe having her right there with us. But dh and I are so thrilled to have just us in our own room again!!!

I use to ask her, "Abby when are you gonna sleep in your own room" and she would reply" Maybe when I have a little brother or sister." Well who knows how long that will be, but the other day I suggested that she should sleep in her own room, and she simply said "okay, can I have my night light?"

CONGRATULATIONS! That's great. I remember when my kids started doing that and it was so nice.

That's great!! I can't wait until Grant does the same, our bed is getting crowded!! LOL! :D

Awww, Mama, she is growing up!! [crwy] We went through that with our youngest just a few months ago. It was sad but also a relief at the same time. You will find that it is so nice to have your room back...good times with the DH are a comin'! :wink: :wink:

We coslept, too, and I love it in the mornings sometimes they migrate back in and cuddle for a few minutes before we actually get up.
