Okay...it's official....it doesn't matter what I eat, how much or what kind of antacid I swallow...I have constant indigestion.

The only comfort I have is when I drink milk...and it almost always makes me gag and almost throw up! Then the relief only lasts for an hour and is back again!

I want my body back!!! [crytantrum]

I was the same way allllllll the way through both of my preggos with my boys.....milk was the only thing that helped me too....but to make me not gag...I drank milk with a little chocolate syrup in it....it soooo did the trick! Just a little bit took the gag effect away and helped me big time!!

Bananas.... that helped me... don't know if it was a fluke or what but, that was my cure all for my heartburn and whatever else in the last trimester. Oy... that's one thing I DO NOT miss!!! Heartburn, indigestion, gas, ugh......

I also had bad heartburn when I was pg with my dd. The thing I found that helped was when I would drink a glass of milk before bed, then wait 20-30 minutes before lying down. I found that helped alot.

Yip, me too, had bad heart burn with dd - but then, i craved SPICY food! (oh dear!)
The only thing i could take that would help was milk. (just little bits at a time)

This time round, my doc says that i must not drink too much milk, cause it changes the alkaline in the tummy, and make the heart burn worse.
I looked at him as if he were crazy... it was the ONLY thing i could take, and now he tells me no... ! :(
anyway, i just kept drinking milk when i felt that way, but then, i have never been a milk drinker, so i would only drink 1/4 to 1/2 glass at a time.

Hope that helps you too.
otherwise, there is only around 45 days left.
(shall we start counting the hours?? )

Will be thinking of you, All the best

Last night was better! But I think it was because I skipped dinner all together and just didn't eat last night. I know...not healthy...go ahead and lecture! I was just having one of those days. KWIM???? Had a rough afternoon at work, cried all evening for no reason and just couldn't muster up the strength to eat. My poor husband was threatening to take me to the hospital any minute and have them force feed me! It was just one of those... "woe is me" sort of nights....*shudder*

I've tried the little bit of chocolate in the milk....makes it worse for me!

I only have 5 weeks left though. If he doesn't come on his own by the last week of July, she will induce Juy 27th. So....I'm counting the days til then!!!

Right there with you Katie, I get acid reflux from EVERYTHING. PB&J, Cereal, ect.ect. The only thing that helps me is ice cream :? I feel like ice cream has became my medication. I am going in for my gestational diabetes testing today...I just pray I am ok, I don't know what I am going to do if I have to give up ice cream. Don't feel bad about not eating. I am constantly hungry (So I have to eat) but I have no appitite for food...it is weird and all I wish I could do is not feel hungry so I didn't have to eat.
