Anyone else getting migranes? pre-preg. I never really got headaches but lately I have been having migranes, especially after I cry or get upset. My blood pressure is still fine, even when I am having a migrane, so I am sure it is just increased blood related. anyways just curious

I started getting terrible migraines after deliverying my first and they still continue after 1.5 pregnancies later....light/sound/movement sensitive...overwhelming at times. They usually last two to three days at a time and are focused on the right side of my head...like a metal vice or helmet that wraps around my head/neck/face....
hot showers/heating pad on my neck/head and vicks on my chest to open up everything to give deep breathing....these help some, but no meds really help and no meds during pregnancy that are approved helped....have your shoulders and neck and face rubbed while you go to sleep.....
Good luck!

I've gotten migraines for maybe 9 or 10 years... especially while pregnant. During my most recent pregnancy I used an herbal bean bag. I purchased some hand salt at a Dead Sea product stand in the mall and I got two of the free bags with it. It covers my forhead and eyes. I put it in the microwave for 1 minute and then placed it over my head while laying down. I'd leave it on until it got cool and then flip it over and use the other side... then re-microwave it as needed. I find that eye masks are very useful for my migraines (to shut out the light that can be painful). Hmmm... I'm going to see if I can find one of those bags online so that you can see what I'm talking about!
