Hello everyone! I've been missing lately but still checking in to read posts and pray for requests. We moved into a new house the first week of May and things are still trying to find their place! We also found out that week we are expecting #3!! God is so good. This was our first month of trying, with #2 we had to try for almost a year. I am due January 21st. This is the 3rd baby in our family due in a year. My cousin's wife is due in August and my sister-in-law is due in September. My grandma is so happy!
Anyways, my question is for those who have more than two children, did you find your self showing alot faster than with your other pregnancies. I am two months and already my pants are hurting my belly! I've been weighing every day and so far have not gained any weight at all so I guess things are shifting around. I just feel funny already wanting to wear maternity clothes but nothing fits!! We've already had an ultrasound so we do know it is just one. Thanks for your help ladies. It's good to be back! :D

I only have two...but with number two I "showed" much faster too...like by week 7 or 8 my pants felt snug...this is due for any subsequent pregnancy for a woman, in large part, due to the intestines and the already relaxed muscles/tendons stretching much faster the since they are much more able to stretch, the intestines/stomach/organs/bowels push the tummy area out much faster! Totally normal for any pregnancy after your first! They say it gets faster with each one for some women! Good luck and congrats!

I definitely showed faster! Each time for me... I have three.
Not me... I'm a weirdo!!! Pregnancy number three and I still didn't show until 6 to 7 months... I HATE that!!! I *felt* the pregnancy symptoms much sooner!! Each time we conceived I KNEW I was pregnant before I missed my cycle! I just had all the symptoms at about 2 days past conception... okay, that was a joke... but you get what I'm saying.... hehehe

I showed much earlier with this one than my first! And I feel absolutely huge these days!!!
I did get a nice comment last Friday though...my husband and I were looking at a house to rent, and the homeowner asked how many kids we had. We told her none that lived with us, but one on the way. She asked when I was due...I told her around the first of August, and she just stood there with her mouth open and said, "well, I never would have guessed that! You are just barely showing at all!!!!
Not sure if that is good or bad???? Maybe she has problems with her vision! :?
Yep, belly definitely popped out well before even 12 weeks with number 2 (not even up to 3!!!) If it makes you feel better I ran into an older minister (scary when you hear the comment!) the other day who I haven't seem for an age and he said "How are you these days... haven't seen you for a while... let me guess, 5 months?" Now I know I haven't quite attained my pre-preg body but I'm not exactly enormous!!!!!! Believe me if he'd seen me at 5 months pregnant he'd REALLY know I was pregnant!!!!! My only saving grace is that I was wearing a baggyish sweat shirt... but still!!!! At least you're pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whew! Anyway, that was just for a laugh... I'm sure your belly looks baby gorgeous!!!!! LoL, Mairi

I'm kinda in the same boat as Jen...I still didn't really show until about month 6-ish. However..I could feel the tightness in my pants and could, myself (and hubby), see a bit of a pooch there earlier with subsequent pregnancies.
I was just really sensitive to things touching me..to even remotely tight pants, even elastic ones, things touching my neck..they all felt like they were choking me. All that stuff happened earlier. But I still didn't *really* show until about month 6.

Thank you ladies for all your comments and encouraging words. I bit the bullet and got out my maternity clothes. I couldn't bear the thought of smushing little one! I'm sure I have more than enough padding in my belly to protect little one :D Things are going great so far! We found out my cousin is expecting also! That means my grandma will get FOUR great-grandbabies in a 6 month span!!! Grandma is thrilled! Hope all are doing well! Thanks again!
