View Full Version : Days for implantation to occur?

Ok, so I don't know quite where to post this...

I thought I was pregnant earlier this month. Took three HPTs over the course of a week and a half (up to the point where I figured it would be the 14 DPO stuff, went off of timing of everything and when I started not feeling too well for several days, even though no PPD AF yet). All were negative. I then come to my MIL's for the week to go to a family wedding. On Tuesday, I had some mucusy discharge that had a bit of pink in it, so I figured I was getting AF. After two wipings of it, it dissappeared. I am begining to wonder again...

Anyway, I need to remember (I can't and don't have my book with me) how long it takes from fertilization to implantation to occur. Let's just say, um yeah. If so, this one will be due the begining of March and Dainyah will be just over 17 months old. Any ideas or advice? I had some mucus nearly two weeks ago now that wasn't quite fertile, but abstained for nearly a week. However, it showed up two days after the act...

Help!!!!!! Any ideas or advice? I know I should go and buy another test, but I am at my MIL's until tomorrow night when Hubby finally comes to get me. And we are going down to OKC to the wedding today and I don't want to test at Hubby's Uncle's house...

Thanks, and sorry if too much info. I just didn't know where else to put this.

Any of those mucusy phases could have been ovulation, even Tues., unless you verified an earlier O through temps. The pink could be related to O or implantation, or a cyst. Wish there was a clear answer!

I believe Inplantation occurs 5-8 days past ovulation.

Implantation can occur even later than 8 days, but that seems more like the norm. I implanted way late with DD...like 14 or 15 dpo. I knew for sure when I o'd because I was on clomid and it was very obvious, as was the implant.

Spotting could be your hormones getting back into balance too, if you are not pg. My first PPAF went the other way and I nearly bled to death, literally, but your body may just be trying to figure out how to have your first PPAF.

Let us know if you test again, how exciting!!

Blessings,
Amber

Thanks, I guess the timing could be right. Could be hormones. Or stress....I've been living with my MIL for the past week. Um, yeah, stress is an understatement. Or it was the brand of tests.

I get to go home today. I think I'll try a wally world brand as the first response early I used, I have never had a good read with them before (they were on sale for ten bucks for three, cheaper than the off brand). Great. Just what I want to do, go into where my husband works full time, we know nearly everyone and buy that. Maybe I'll get him to stop and get one before we leave MIL's city....

I'll keep you posted. My mother swore she was getting a baby in February or March next year from me....I was hoping she was wrong this time though. She was right with Dainyah and the one we lost...

My mother was right. I bought a cheap wally world test yesterday (went through the self-check out line) and immediately used it upon arrival home. It didn't take any time to turn positive. Like as the urine traveled up the stick, each little line appeared. Hubby is kind of excited. I think he was more excited than I was.

awww, Congratulations! That's awesome!!! :-D Just remember, it's ok to crawl after your kid if you are super tired...LOL! Gotta love pregnancy fatigue. (I had many days that I crawled after DD, literally! )

Yeah!!! I am so excited!
