Is anyone else feeling like all they eat is really bad for you food? I used to eat well and now I don't eat good at all. I feel like all I eat anymore is ice cream and popcicles. I have a really hard time eating meat, because it still makes me sick thinking about it, and anything with red sauce or cooked tomatoes makes me get really bad indigestion, so I am already limited on what I eat, and then not wanting to cook at all makes it even worse, and I just go for convinience. I just wish I ate better right now.

When I was pregnant with my dd that was how I ate too. I either gagged on or threw up everything. At the end of my pregnancy I was having a lot of milkshakes, let's just say! I know how you feel but just do the best you can. The baby will be nourished regardless.
I don't eat nearly as good as I ate with Abby. I ate so healthy with Abby and this one gets a little more bad food. By the time I feed Abby at night, I just can't be bothered cooking for myself so I usually eat bad bcuz of it, like a frozen pizza or something. I have been really trying to eat healthier these last few weeks, and I think I'm doing better. And then the healthy stuff never sounds good, it's always the bad stuff that looks so appetising

Hmm..depends which Baby we're talkin about. DS I ate HORRIBLE!! Wanted Butterfingers and Oreo Flurries (Oreos good. Ice cream good. Oreos AND ice cream? GGGGGOOOOOOOODDDDDD!!) DD I ate LOTS of frut and veggies. This baby? Poor thing is probably starvin' I have absolutely NO appetite whatsoever. I make breakfast/lunch/dinner for the family and I'm lucky if I feel in the mood for ANY of it. To me? That's a yucky eating habit too. Meat is never a problem since we are vegetarians so...
I think d/t all the "wackiness" goin on with having a baby our bodies try to compensate. Personally I say, eat whatever, with in reason of course. Blessings to you! ~Kerri

I did VERY well before I had morning sickness... During the morning sickness, I ate what I could, which was not much of anything... Now, well,... um, now... LOL see my first statement...

Pasta, pasta, pasta, pasta! Pasta is a preggo womans best friend!!!
Yep!!! That's my theme these days...whether it be mac & cheese, fettucinni alfredo, spaghetti with marinara, cheese torellini, spinach ricotta manicotti...it has to be pasta!!!
Semi healthy at best...if you count the tomato sauce as a veggie!!! Otherwise....carb laden!

I've been on a rice kick lately... Is there really any nutrition in rice? I just want it all the time... that is when I'm not really craving McDonalds chicken nuggets. I'd probably be on ice cream too, but too much dairy makes my tummy feel pretty nasty.

I try to eat healthy--my main meals are pretty balanced, but my snacks on the other hand are most of the time junky foods. I just can't help myself!

I eat a lot of whole wheat pasta when I can afford it. Around here is is really pricey. So, I have to admit I don't use it as often as I should...but I like it just as much as the regular "white" pastas.
Yep...it's spaghetti for lunch today! And green beans....oh, I love my green beans too!!! Shhhh...Don't tell anyone, but before I got pregnant, I would eat them cold straight out of the can!!!! Now, I make myself wait til they're heated for safety reasons.

It can be really hard to eat well when you feel crummy and have a lack of energy. Baby will take what baby needs :) Don't feel bad - just do your best - I am the same as others here - eating habits depended on the pregnancy :)
