First Father's Day Ideas?

Even though I'm 29 weeks, I'd like to do something special for my DH since it's his "first" Father's Day.

Anyone have any special ideas to do for a special Dad-To-Be?

I have NO ideas but that sure is sweet! How about a nice card with a picture of pregnant you?! :) Maybe a home made card; art and craft stores carry adorable things to make cards... I know my hubby would cherish that... he saves all the little things that I or the children give him like that. :)

Homemade card idea is PERFECT! I'll make two lil' foot prints out of my hands! THANKS!

Just an idea here: maybe on the homeade card...write a short poem that tells your husband why you think he will make a wonderful father?

I am actually making a scrapbook for my husband. He has 5 kids from previous relationships and then the one we are about to have. So I've gathered from the kids moms pictures of him at their birth, Christmas's, school events and the like through the years and am doing a couple of pages for each kid. It's been really fun for me and enlightening to see how his appearance has changed through the years! :lol: :lol: When his first was born 15 years ago...he sported a full out Mullet!!!! Then he when his next was born a year and a half later...hair was short and permed???? Crazy man!!!

Anyway, maybe you could even make a copy of one of your ultrasound pictures and put in or on the card too???

i wish i could figure out how to post my 3d pictures but i've tried and can't figure it out! i'll keep trying! i got great instructions from a sister here but i just can't figure it out.

The ultrasound picture thing what what I did for Bill when I was pregnant. I took all of our ultrasound pictures and various pictures of my belly (in order from smallest to largest) and put them all together on one page. It said, "Daddy, look how much I've grown!" He loved it and it came out pretty sweet. Of course, the day Maddy was born was 4 days after Daddy's Day, so she was pretty much a belated Daddy's Day gift! :wink:
