one more HSG question...

I read on WebMD that you should abstain from bd for 2 weeks after the procedure to avoid the risk of infection. :? My dr. gave me an antibiotic to take starting the morning of, so it would be ok to resume bd, right? Otherwise we won't be able to TTC this cycle, which would make me sad. :(

Nope - it's all good...you can get right back into BDing straight after the procedure (and therefore get your BFP this cycle!!). The fact that your doctor gave you antibiotics shows they're on the ball...not all doctors give them for HSGs, but the good ones do as prophylaxis against possible infection (although the chance of infection is actually very minimal)....actually far less chance of getting an infection from an HSG than from using egg white as a lubricant.....but that's a story for an entirely different post, right guys??!!!
