Middle name help

ok my dh and I are trying to find a middle name for our lil one..we have two that we like...its really funny when we tell ppl what we plan on naming the baby cause we get a really odd look or oh thats cool type of thing..so her first name will be October (yes like the mth) (no she will not be born in that mth) and for the second name my dh suggested Divine but i was thinking Rose. so its between Divine and Rose. Our last name starts w/a D as well. So her initals will be if we chose Divine O.D.D w/ Rose it would be O.R.D ... maybe it would work w/the initals w/ the double d's but i'm not sure.. I have taken a liken to Rose though.

So either way I think we will decide on a middle name for sure after she is born but I wanted to see what you all thought bout it and which name you liked best..



ps.

the funny thing is we are so set on thinking its a girl (the dct wasnt for sure yet until the last 2 mins of our sonogram) that we havent even thought of a boys name just in case.. I like maximus it was my great grandfather's name..

I picked October Rose bcuz October Divine is a bit of a mouthful. October Rose flows better! :wink:

no special meaning...this will either be funny or weird to our dd when she is grown up and we tell her daddy got her name from a horror movie "Staying Alive"..one of the characters was named that..We are sitting in the movie theater and my dh leans over and says thats an awesome name. So thats how we got that name. I wasn't to sure at first but thought Nevaeh (our first choice if we had a girl w/our first) was just left over name from our first baby( sounds weird but she doesnt seem like a Nevaeh)..

I think that Rose is really pretty with October! And having the initals as O.D.D. might cause some getting picked on in the future... :roll: just a thought.

I picked Rose also, because I like "older" names, and if your daughter doesn't like to be called October (face it, we all go through THAT phase), then she can go by a more "normal" name until the phase passes!

I think it would be funny to have initials as ODD though....LOL :lol:

I think a short middle name goes better with a longer first name. I like the name October. :D
