Weight gain!!

Yeah!!! I just had to tell you guys that Ian had gained 1 lb. since his last dr. visit last month. I had to take him to the ped because he has thrush (sp?), that nasty yeast infection babies get in their mouths. Anyway, it was time for his weight check (since all the tests came back ok and there is no medical reason for his small weight). HE GAINED A POUND!! I was so happy!! [cheerful] We have been working really hard at getting him to eat more and I have been supplementing his diet w/Pedisure. So we are definately NOT going to the nutritionist the ped wanted to send us to. With God's help, we can do ourselves!! BTW, his weight is now "chartable".

Carolyn thats great news! I think too much emphasis is placed on those charts and percentiles by doctors/peds, especially when everything else is perfecty normal, development, sleep, etc. Its causes much to much uneccessary worry for parents.

Keep up the great work, and hopefully you can relax a bit now. You must have been so worried.
