I was just wondering what everyone else's is and how did they know that was it. Sorry if I am being cheeky but I am beinging to explore my faith a bit more and very curious to find things out.

Well, I've studied spiritual gifts during a discipleship weekend at church and the 2 that I found I had the most "natural" leanings toward were discernment and hospitatlity.

Other areas I feel God blessed me and I have been able to use in church and reaching others is teaching/leading Bible studies, music, encouragement.

I, too, have always felt led in the area of discernment. I feel like I have also been called to intercessory prayer, but to be honest, it is the hardest one to obey at all times. I know that sounds horrible but I am being honest. I have to stay humble and in the Spirit.

God has also blessed me with the ablility to teach younger children. DH and I recently (two months ago) started teaching the Cadet's class (3-5 year olds) in Sunday school. :)

I have the gift of mercy, closely followed by the gift of servitude. This is a wonderful gift as I can empathize and have great desires to help people...however it can be bad in ways, I have to try not to get too emotionally involved and be strong in knowing how to say no.

The Emotional bit kinda sounds like me, I can get too emotionally involved in a lot of things.

I am a very emotional person and I get upset very easy, could this be a gift of mine. Not that I am a cry baby but a gift that I have emotions and think about other people.

I took the spiritual gifts test as well and said the my gifts were in the area of helps, discernment, and couseling/encouragement.
I do feel that these fit me and what i have already felt to be true. Another gift i feel the Lord has blessed me with is that of worship.

Hospitality I would have to say. I have no calling to lead children or a women's Bible study. Though, I try to be an example to each. Also praying for others, although I agree with Becca in that it's a hard one to obey at times. But I guess it's that I feel I have no other real 'place' but I can always pray for someone :) I just waffle so much in my prayer life *shrug*

Other than that...I have always wondered how childbirth/homebirth, nursing, child rearing, carseats and photography fit in hehe

For now, my photography fits in by me taking pictures of our fellowship time and it will be posted on our website. Also, I take pictures of a young family there. I, just this weekend, took pics of the 2 yr olds first time going up the steps to the slide by himself heehee
And I have been there to help this same mother as she breastfeeds for the first time (second child, but breastfeeding stopped very early with the first due to lack of support/education and struggles).

I don't know what the 'official' "gifts" are..but..those are my thoughts anywho.
