It's day 22 for me, and honestly, I'm still not convinced I've ovulated. Normally, I would care. (at least not like this) But, it all started when we were talking about natural gender selection. So, dh says, "well, that's something we need to talk about" as he *REALLY* wants a girl. So I'm sitting here, since Th. looking for ew, watery, clear, *something* and what do I have? Creamy, milky, lotiony. Basically, nothing in the form of something.

My temps are all wacked. My highest all cycle has been 97.5, with the lowest 96.8.

Oh well. Could waiting for ovulation be "stressful" enough to delay it?

*Oh, btw, we're still not technically trying. I'm not sure if dh was insinuating anything or if he was just babbling. You know how hubbies are.

have you read Taking charge of your fertility? Even if you're not officially trying, it is worth reading. I just started and it is packed full of information. Almost any type of stress can delay ovulation. do you usually notice if you have fertile cm?

Charting is so helpful but it can also be really frustrating at times! I've had similar cycles and it's no fun. Praying the Lord would comfort you as you wait and try to figure it out. I don't think that obsessing about ovulation would be likely to delay it. The kind of stress I've heard mentioned that could do that would be over things like moving, changing jobs, etc. Do you have a chart you can post?

Your temps sound exactly like mine and I've always been told they're within a normal range. Sometimes I feel that my LP temps are still too low, which is something I'm going to pursue talking to my doctor about. We're just at the very beginning of our fertility testing.

Hope you have O confirmed soon! Prayers and babydust to you!

I looked that book up on ebay and on Amazon.com and it was still a bit out of my price range, do you know where I could get it for less?

We're not trying to conceive...but EVERYONE is talking about this book...I MUST have it!

I have no clue about my body at all...ovulation...charting...anything to do with anything....

Wish that I could help you Kana...but I'm TOTALLY ignorant when it comes to things like this....I hope that everything works out the way that you (and God) would like!

First see if they have it at your local library, if not go to www.half.com
with shipping you can get it for like $9.00 the last I checked.

oh feel free to take over, Chels. It's a wonderful book. I love it. Dh even likes it.

as an update, I supose I was just stressin' over surgery for Bri and din't realize how "up tight" I really was. got really egg whitey the day after surgery, and temp spiked same a.m.

guess I"m on the downhill of this cycle now.

Thanks

Don't forget that you should bd that morning of a spiked temp. Especially if you have ew cm! There is still a chance!!!!!

we're not trying right now. I just posted the question here, b/c all of you are into the charting and all too. We use it for more of a control thing than a conception thing, at least now.
