Has anyone gotten a bfn on a hpt? Are they more common than false positives? If you do get a bfn, how long should you wait b4 testing again?

I get them(BFN) quite often. I would wait a day or two before testing again.
I am praying to see a BFP one day, as all of us are.
When is your cycle due?
Praying for our miracles

I've read that it is almost impossible to get a false positive. But quite common to get a false negative. The book taking charge of your fertility talks about this. Anyhow, BFN's happen quite a bit in this forum. And like you we're all praying for BFP's real soon. Generally I test a day or two before I'm gonna start my cycle. If it is BFN then most likely AF is coming for a visit. If I'm late, I'll wait 2 days to test again. Because sometimes you're just LATE. :x
Sending you some babydust and BFP's for anyone and everyone that is a part of this forum.

I can't chart my cycles because they havent returned yet! I am b/f and I am not sure if I am ovulating or not. The past few days I have been light headed and tired (more than usual) so I took a hpt but it came out negative. I would love a bfp but I know that the Lord has a perfect plan for me! Thanks for your prayers!!! Has anyone had any luck conceiving while b/f?

My sister in law got pregnant while b/f. She was still nursing her ds, and he cycles had not started yet, so she thought she was safe. But she got pregnant when her son was about 8 months.

You can still try charting when you are b/f, it is just alot harder; I just bought Taking Charge of Your Fertility (if you can't find it near you, I found that getting it used on Amazon was cheaper than ebay - my copy was $6) and I am reading up on it now.

I still have to buy my basal thermometer to start temping, but I have started (as in yesterday) checking my cervix to see what the fluid is like, how open and firm/soft/medium it is or if it is high/low. This site has some basic temping and cervix-checking info:

This site has info on what a chart might look like when you are breastfeeding, I have been looking at the one that says
"Tanya NO PPAF AND MY CHART Chart" http://tcoyf.com/ourtcoyf/gallery/gallery.asp?typeid=11

I am TTA, not TTC, but wondering - does anyone here use ovusoft?
