So my doctor has started me on Prometrium. I have had alot of thyroid issues in the past. Well this past test came back normal a few months ago :) So after speaking about my symptoms and some advice from a friend...I asked could it be my progesterone level. So that's how I got on this medicine. I was advised to take it twelve days and then wait two weeks for a cycle. The doctor said this pill can trigger me into a cycle. Since that is what I am having issues with also. Because of the thyroid(this has been up and down for years now)and infertility issues(basically my body asborbs my eggs at times)...I have very irregular cycles. Since Feb. I have only had two. So I was wondering if anyone takes this and how it has made you feel??? Has your mood and fatigue improved? Sleep? Cycles get straight? The first night I took it...I got the best sleep of my life!!!! Now I just see a little improvement on energy and mood. I'm thinking it may take time to build up in my system. Basically, I just wanted some insight on what to expect from this medicine in the future.
So we are still waiting and praying. I keep reminding myself. When I was told that we could not have children. When I Prayed there after...I prayed for a child...not children. So I have no room to complain(I try to remember this)...I do have a beautiful daughter and right now we have put adoption off until a later date. So we will see what the Lord has in store for us.
