Hi everyone,
My name is Robyn, I am 29 and I am married to my wonderful DH, Damien who is 31. We have been together for 5 years and we were recently married on Nov 17 of 2006.

I have been a born again Christian since April 28, 2003, and after years of prayer, my DH was finally come upon by the Lord on Christmas night 2006 and has been a growing Christian since! He has become a completely new person and the most amazing husband! Praise and thanks to Jesus!!
Anyways, we are informally TTC and this is my first 2WW.
When I say informally I mean more on DH's side, as for me, my biological clock is ticking so loud it's really all I can hear these days.
DH is always worried about our finances which are terrible right now. Don't get me wrong, we are very blessed, we have a place to live and food to eat, a vehicle and we both have full time jobs, but every SINGLE day we are dealing with something financially stressful. My DH declared bankruptcy a few months ago but we are still thanking God for giving him a second chance and for continuing to take care of us everyday.

I am just trying to have faith that our money situation will change one day and that if I did get pg, He would take care of us someway the way he does right now. But then again, who knows what His plan is for us.

Anyways, where I am at with my TTC...
This is my first month TTC. I have been off birth control pills for 2 months now. May is the first month we 'knowingly' bd'ed around my O. Right now I am on CD25 and waiting....obsessing with every symptom....not that I am expecting it to happen on the first try. That would be a miracle within miracles.

I am looking forward to meeting everyone here!
i am new to the whole forum thing and was recently on the pregnancy forum but only posted once.
I pray that God will Bless everyone TTC with positive results!!

Robyn

Welcome to c'moms! Glad you are here, the ladies here are such an encouragment especially on those days you are down. DH and I ttc for 13 months and are now very blessed with me being pregnant with our first. Keep praying and hang on to God. His timing is best even when we want to disagree.

Hey Robyn, Welcome to the group and to the Christian Family. My dh and I have been married for 6 years this Aug. and we have one beautiful dd who is 3. We've been ttc for 12 months and is still waiting on God.

As far as finacial advice, The first thing I'd suggest is if you don't already, start titheing. You can never out give God. But I can tell you from my own experience and from many many people I know, that titheing is the first step to getting your finaces in order. It is a reflection of your faith. And so you build your faith and God will carry you through.

Anyhow Welcome!

Hey thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
I appreciate the thoughts and prayers!! I am excited to be in this whole 'ttc' game as well, especially with other c-moms. :)
I still can't even believe I am TTC...it's kinda surreal to me.

To Savedbygrace regarding the advice about tithing.....that is interesting that you say that because the strangest things have been happening, especially to my DH.
Before he gave his life to God, he was driven by money, always trying to think of ways to make more money....it was his main drive in life. I used to warn him back then but he never understood. I prayed for a looong time about this.
In the last few months my DH has been going around saying things like, the more he gives up, the more God blesses him and the more peace he feels. He has been GIVING our stuff away to people who need it more than us. He started a new job and has befriended so many new people. He is the one who told me it would only be right if I gave a percentage of the proceeds from my website to a ministry or to our sponsor child's family. And I must admit, throughout all of our stresses with money, he is now the one telling me "it's just money...it's nothing, God will take care of us"
So I am happy you said that because I feel it's true and I am glad we are on the right path. God has definately made us appreciate every cent we are given and has made us think of Him first before we decide how to spend it.

Actually my DH just left for work and he is bringing one of our big home theatre systems plus the speakers to work to give to some older man who doesn't have a stereo. He asked my permission and I told him go ahead, he needs it more than we do, do what you feel God would want you to do...
Yes, God does work in mysterious ways.
Anyways, thanks for the encouraging advice. :D

Welcome Home Robyn! You'll find great encouragement from your sisters here.

DH and I have been married for 9 years. We tried TTC for 34 months and are expecting our first miracle on August 28th.

The TTC journey is amazing! If you haven't bought Taking Charge of Your Fertility, it's worth the buy. A great resource all women should have to teach us about our bodies. God's ultimate plan is the best plan but information is fun to learn.

Keep the faith!
