Hey!

Well today has been a crazy day for me. I was out with my sister and a friend lastnight and went to the bathroom and I was bleeding a little bit. Not much just when I wiped. I wasn't worried about it at all because I knew it could be so many different things. I wasn't cramping so I wanted to just wait it out.
Today I had my first mid-wife appointment and I let her know that I was bleeding a bit so she did an internal just to feel my uterus and cervix. She wasn't worried but she said she thought my uterus felt only 7-8 weeks along... which I'm supposed to be 11 weeks. She knew she could be wrong because she didn't want to be too intrusive since I was bleeding. She ordered an ultrasound and thank goodness I was able to get one at 3:00 today. I left the appointment not feeling very positive about it but strangely at peace. My husband was with me the whole time and he was feeling the same thing. We both know that these things are out of our control so we couldn't worry about it.
We went to the ultrasound and I'm happy to say that everything looks great! The baby is measuring 11 weeks, I saw and heard the heartbeat and I was able to bring a picture home with me. We were incredibly relieved.

Anyway, it's been a long day but a bit scary. I'm not bleeding at all anymore but I'm still feeling twinges down in my abdomen that I'm not too sure about. Could just be everything stretching. Who knows!

I'm happy to hear everything is going good. I think I'm a couple weeks further along then you, and I'd agree it might be everything stetching already. Is this your second? This is my second and my doctor told me that things will be more achy then last time. I already had a flare in my hips yesterday.... well it happened all week long but yesterday I could barely move. I'm glad to hear you have your trust in God, and your not letting Satan in. God Bless, hope things are more comfortable for you soon.

So glad the u/s went well, Hopefully you can rest a little more now. your so close to the 12 week mark! Praying your bleeding stays away so it reasures you all is fine.

Glad to hear all is well with you and the baby. I know how scary that can be. With #2 I had bright red bleeding before 12 weeks also (twice). Once it happened in Wal-mart and was running down my legs. Scary (she was a healthy baby too). But at least you not only felt peace before the u/s but that the u/s also confirmed good news for you. Glad your ultrasound went well. I remember the first time I heard my dd's heartbeat and it was such a blessing.
