View Full Version : How big can they get???!!!!
Katielady 05-08-2007, 11:02 AM Okay...before I got pregnant, my breasts were a full DD. Then, I rather quickly went up to a DDD.
This morning, I realize yet again, it is time to move up. I went through all of the bras in my drawer and none of them truly cover me. Today, I am wearing a rather loose button down dress shirt and am glad because anything remotely fitted in that area would give the "double boob" effect as they are spilling over the top of the full coverage cups.
I guess it's time to move up to an E cup. They got big with my first pregnancy, but I don't think they were this huge. Anyone else out there feel like their breasts are taking over? I mean, my boobs precede my belly into a room!!!!!
LCLake 05-08-2007, 11:13 AM WOWIE!!! DDD and no an E???? That's nuts!
It's weird but my boobs actually feel smaller then before. Is THAT normal?! With my first pregnancy my mom knew I was pregnant right away because she noticed my big boobs! This time.... not so much. :(
HA! I'm usually a B cup, and when I was about to have the twins, and then when I was nursing them, I LITERALLY looked like I had two Cantelopes in my bra! I actually had to wear a C cup and it was almost too small! I was in heaven!!! :) I can usually go without even wearing a bra, because I'm just so small, so it was nice to actually fill out a shirt! ::sniff:: I miss that! My babies just weaned, so no more milk for me! I'm back to my old A/B cup!!
But, yes, I *DID* feel like I Was just going to POP, as if there just couldn't be any more room in them for more milk! It sure feels weird!
~Tara~ 05-08-2007, 11:36 AM aaaah Jen...my sister hehe
We're in the same boat. Nothing much to speak of unless I'm pregnant or nursing a young one. Even now, at 15 months nursing, they are dwindling.
They sure are nice to have around aren't they?
Not to be vain and in that worldly 'big boobs are better' mindset, I'm just saying...they do look nice in the shirt ;) hehe
And oh my word...I couldn't imagine anything larger than a C (and I filled out a niiiiiiiice C previously..the increase has decreased with subsequent children)! Oh girl, how I feel for you. C was plenty to handle, thank you very much.
But even at my full C, I felt the girls entered the room before my belly...my belly didn't bulge much until about 6 or 7 months LOL They girls advanced before that ;)

Wow... sounds like you and I are quite similar!! I didn't really start looking pregnant until about month seven... I always hated that... i just always looked like I had too much roast at dinner... ha! [rotfl]
And yes, I agree, that having nice big boobers isn't "important" but it IS just one of those "fleshy" things that makes us feel more like a "woman", wish it wasn't that way, but for me, it is.
My sisters both have very large busts and I have always been jealous... until my teen years came and I could wear all the really cool little halter tops and such, because I didn't have any boobs to worry about. [rofl]
Now, I'm back to the "Man, I wish I had some", point... Thankfully, I have a husband who loves me, small boobs and all. :)
Wowzers, I really hijacked the thread, sorry Katie!!! That's all, I promise....
Katielady 05-08-2007, 12:40 PM I am so jealous of my smaller busted counterparts! I can't wear so many things because of them. To not have to wear a bra would be wonderful, but no such luck for me. Let's see....6th grade I was a full C. Talk about attention from the boys! And by the time I graduated high school I was a full D and probably should have been in a DD.
I honestly don't remember ever owning and A or a B cup bra!
My DH has mentioned that if I wanted to have them reduced, it would be okay. But the comments he's made lately.... well, let's just say he sure isn't disappointed with how much they've grown with this pregnancy. That and the comment about my rear getting bigger over the last few weeks! What is it about men???!!! I don't know whether to be flattered or offended sometimes!
LCLake 05-08-2007, 01:00 PM Haha. It's funny how the things that we sometimes find unattractive about ourselves - like growing rears and boobs - are extra attractive to the hubby. I guess that's a good thing!! Sometimes annoying but oh well! :)

Yeah... God sure knew what He was doing, right? Our men think the bigger some things get the sexier we are... even if we think we just look huge and ugly. :)
kanaclark 05-08-2007, 01:34 PM dh is (or was) a small rear/small chest type man. Thank goodness he was when we met, I was skinny as a bean pole and flat as a washboard, ha!
When I was pregnant with Bri, I didn't get that big. Went from like a B to a C. Ok, doable. could even still sleep on my stomach.
With Patrick, OH! MY! I went back to a C in my 1st trimester, a D in my second trimester and then a DD in my end. Stayed there until Patrick was about a month old. I can wear my "bigger" C's now, but a D is more comfortable. My favorite bra is a C and it gives me that double boob look so I don't wear it with many clothes. I have the same bra in a D and the cups fit, but the wires go way up into my arm pits. My problem is I have a high waist and I'm short. So I have NO upper body whatsoever.
Cheeseburger 05-08-2007, 01:45 PM Yeah I have the same problem!! I have all these nice, silky bras that don't fit anymore! I was a D, while pg with katherine I grew to a DD, now I'm even BIGGER and have to go shopping for bras again soon (going to put that off since they might still grow... LOL)
I'm really irritated because bras are expensive. I hope I shrink so I can wear my nice ones again. Right now I just wear nursing bras and the elastic is starting to wear out. LOL
buttercup_97140 05-08-2007, 01:55 PM I am in the opposite boat. My breasts never grew during any of my pgs. I think that's because I have partial tubal breasts, but they did get fuller when I was nursing. I had such supply problems with Emma, that I was so afraid that I wouldn't do well for Noah, but even without them getting bigger during his pg, I got milk! :-D
I would love to be fuller.....anyone willing to send some cleavage my way? Haahaa
Amber
Katielady 05-08-2007, 01:58 PM How about we start a sign up sheet. Who wants Katie to send some cleavage their way?!
~Tara~ 05-08-2007, 02:15 PM Ok, I'm in LOL
Just a smidge please, no need to go crazy. Just enough to replace what's been worn out after nursing 5 children.
I'm good with a small C :D
I'm good for a small C too!! Send me some too please! :)
mamallama 05-08-2007, 02:52 PM I just have to say this thread is cracking me up!!! [rofl] [rotfl]
Katielady 05-08-2007, 03:00 PM Hmmm...do you think if I donate to each of you that it will affect my milk production?
BTW - I'm already leaking too! But only from my right breast, and it is at times, more than I was ever able to produce when I tried to breastfeed my son.
Aren't our bodies wacky?
~Tara~ 05-08-2007, 03:53 PM haha
nope, we'll avoid the milk ducts...I don't need them anyway...just the tissue ;)
LMHO
LCLake 05-08-2007, 04:14 PM Haha... boobs are just so weird and funny. At least we can all talk about it and relate. :)
I'll take some of that excess boobage if you're handing it out for free! Thanks!
I think I'll pass on the hand out...LOL, I'm quite pleased with my little guys. I'm in the same boat as Tara and Jen. I'm normally a B and while pg with Abby I stayed a B and then when my milk came in, I went up to a D over night. And then went back to a B when she weaned. Now that I'm pg again, I think I might need to go to a C soon. And I have cleavage! Woohoo!
~Tara~ 05-08-2007, 04:48 PM LOL Cleavage is great isn't it?
myjoyoverflows 05-08-2007, 04:48 PM    'nough said!
alidight 05-08-2007, 06:30 PM Oh My this is such a great thread!!!! BTW I Have some cleavage to give away for those that want it! I am a small person all around - 5'1 and about 62 kgs (top end of normal  ) - but my boobies are an E!!!! AHHH!!!
No actually my DH loves them which is great as I've always felt self concious about them as I was in a B bra when I was 12! It's hard to find things that don't make me look like im going to topple over. I really wanted to wear a bikini on our honeymoon to a tropical paradise to wear in our private pool but couldn't find any that would cover more than the nipple!!!! Anyone know what I mean?
Anyway my concern is that we are trying for our first baby and I am sooo worried about how big they will get! My mum is also small with large boobies but she was only a D until she got preggie and each time they didn't quite go back to a D and after 5 babies she now has E. hmmm
LCLake 05-09-2007, 03:26 PM Why would you need a bikini top to fit over anything bit your nipple on your honeymoon and in a private pool!?!?! :)
Katielady 05-09-2007, 03:30 PM Wow! I never thought my gripe would create such a thread!!!!
I was thinking the same thing about the private pool...why would you want a top at all????
Okay, so I look today online at bras...my goodness! One bra costs more than it would to fill my truck up with gas and that's a lot right now!
Wonder if I can sew my own????
4HisGlory 05-09-2007, 10:04 PM I am a willing doner!!! :D I am a D cup pre pregnancy but I am already spilling over! I don't have the heart yet to break down and buy a DD. My dh is also enjoying the new me (bigger rear, and boobs) He says its like I have had a boob job! haha.
GabrielsMommy 05-10-2007, 02:37 PM I was an A when I got married, with my first child I went to a full C. after I stopped nursing I'm still a small C. I'm glad about that. My husband doesn't care what size I am really, I like to be a full C then I can fill out shirts. I think they look nicer on me that way. I wonder if I will grow again.... My mother was a B and had three children now she is a D or DD I don't remember which. I'd just like to be a full C.
Reneemomto5 05-10-2007, 03:44 PM Oh my Katie I feel for you sweetie! I was in the same boat with each pregnancy! I was a C (now small C), went all through the D's to and E I think it was during pregnancy. And it got worse after birth for me, yikes got bigger! But on a positive note to this I had PLENTY of milk, actually a big excess where the nurses at the time recommended I donate to a milk bank
So who knows how big they can get but well I guess a good answer would be, always bigger!
alidight 05-10-2007, 05:49 PM Good point about the whole private pool thing! I laughed out loud reading that! Should have thought about that at the time! I guess I was just a little shy at the time! Over that now!!! [rofl] We might have to go away again!
MommaBear 05-10-2007, 06:23 PM  I'm TOTALLY missin' out. I've been a C since jr high, stayed a C while pregnant and nursing and STILL am a C. Boo-hoo to me. :D ~Kerri
love2bmom 05-10-2007, 06:47 PM Ok.. I'm in the same boat SUPER.. ! DD here - don't remember what an A, B or even C cup is about! I have always been I guess you can say "endowed". No matter what size I am my boobs... NEVER GO AWAY! Sometimes it is great - well DH won't complain, but for pity sake I would love some really frilly bras... DOESN'T HAPPEN.
By the way, from what I have been told a DD is pretty close to the same as an E.. so you would be better off with a DDD or EE.
I would be happy to share some cleavage.. just let me know
myjoyoverflows 05-10-2007, 07:28 PM  I'm TOTALLY missin' out. I've been a C since jr high, stayed a C while pregnant and nursing and STILL am a C. Boo-hoo to me. :D ~Kerri
same way here...my breasts didn't really change in size while I was pregnant or nursing (and continue to be the same!)..honestly, I'm glad....I don't mind being a size C! :D

I was about to say, at least you didn't LOSE anything!!! I think I'm actually smaller NOW than I was when I started out before I had my first daughter! That's messed up.........
