Home made or bought.

Do you prefer home made gifts or shop bought ones, I love home made from my daughter. I am making her a dolls house out of carboard boxes because I think the home made touch makes it special.

Homemade stuff always holds more sentimental value, especially when it comes from your children or a spouse.

But store bought is nice with some things. Like bath and body products (lotions, soaps, etc.). I tend to be super sensitive to frangrances and dyes in soaps and lotions, so it's nice to have store bought ones that I know are dye and fragrance free.

I guess it just depends on what it is.

I actually agree there maybe a combination of the 2, homemade basket and shop bought products. Or even better shop bought pressie and home made card. I make my own cards and have started to make home made chocolate truffles. :D

I'm a real sentimental person, so I love anything homemade. Store bought is nice depending on what it is.

I love home made I just though of some thing funny that I wanted to share. My DD made buns at nursery and the staff actually warned me not to eat them and let her eat them instead, when I asked why they told me she had been picking her nose and they dipping her finger in the mixture to taste it. I was mortified I m glad that I didn't eat it and next time I settle for something that you do not eat.
