I told people I couldn't wait for that time when she start asking "why".
  WHAT THE HECK WAS I THINKING?!?!
We can not read a book, listen to music, watch a movie, have a conversation, give a command with out not just one "why?", but as soon as the first question is asnwered it's followed with another "why?" until we get down to "because God made it that way" or "cause I said so".
This is the WORST part- I'm answering the same questions with different variations of the same answer for about ten minutes consecutively and then for days after or everytime we get in the situation where the thought comes up again. Like: we see her cousin, "why does . . . . walk on her tippy toes?" I answer. the next time we see her or talk about her the same conversation insues. I pull out the "what did I tell you?" or "why do you think?" She will now answer for the cousin one sometimes but, mostly her response is "I don't know, tell me again". Today we got stuck in a trafic hold up due to an accident we couldn't see. I answered the question over and over again for ten+ minutes. Until I could not take it anymore. I'm LOOSING MY MIND.
How long des this last????? What other ideas do you moms have for dealing with this? I don't want to quench her thirst for knowledge and at the same time I'm going nuts because it's non- stop. If nothing else please, pray and thankyou for letting me rant. . .  (that's the insane laughter of a crazy woman).
