Do you check yours? I have always noticed that when it is time for af to come my cervix is low and hard. I am just a few days away and my cp is very high and some what soft! I know I can't go off of this alone, but it's something new for me and it gives me hope that maybe this is the month God will answer my prayer's!

I know everyone's body is different, and some have said that thiers moves, but mine is the same no matter what time I check it!

This waiting stuff is sooooo hard. Sending prayers out for everyone!!!! We all need to get outta this forum!!!

I always checked mine in my ttc cylces and it had a distinct pattern.

Hope this helps:

For most of your cycle, your cervix is low, hard (like the tip of your nose), and closed. Around the time of ovulation, estrogen causes the cervix to become higher, softer (like the inside of your cheek), and open. After ovulation, your cervix returns to its low, hard, and closed position.

I've tried.. I can tell "no where near O" and "O anytime in the next week+" apart, but beyond that it doesn't help me. CM tells me a lot more.

I agree with Rachel, it's so hard to use the CP method as a fertility sign. CM was a better sign for me that I relied on more than CP.

I found the best position to check CP was "squatting". I would use the bathtub to hang onto to steady myself then check. It was the only position I could use to try and tell if it was open or closed, high, low, soft, changing, or hard.

BD also helped me too. I could usually tell most certainly when it was lower.

I notice that around ovulation, my CP is high soft and open and most days it is medium to hard and closed. I only check it in the shower when I thought about it though...I'm not an every day checker.

I never would get any CM until the last couple of months when I started drinking a cup of real japanese green tea during the week-- but even then it's only watery and not stretchy like you CM blessed women out there! :D So, I couldn't really rely on that in my case.

Well girls, I can honestly say that I have tried several times while watching my "fertility signs" in the past to check my cervix, but it is never an easy thing for me to do. Apparently mine is rather high and hard for me to reach....so am I strange or what?

Even my doc has a difficult time when doing pelvic exams and paps. I could always go by CM, I am blessed by that I suppose. Temping was never very accurate for me as my sleep patterns have always been weird.

Katie,

I am there with you, mostly. I have a tilted uterus and so my cervix is "pointing" back more so than normal. If my cervix is just right or low I can feel it, but if it's high up, it's hard to tell what it's doing 100%.

My doc checked me a few weeks ago and had a hard time even finding my cervix...he said.."I know you have one in there somewhere..." LOL!
