We have a tooth finally!!!!!! Digby is six and a half months old, and we have on starting to poke out on the bottom as of this morning. I am soooo excited. We have been feeling her top incisers for the last week, and I thought for sure those were going to be the first, thankfully, it is the bottom right one coming in, instead. Though, the way she's been lately, I wonder if they are all going to be popping in in the next week or so. You can see where they are all going to come. I feel so bad for her.

Now, to just prepare myself for the biting.

I do intend to post a pic when it is up far enough to see. Might be a few days with all the stuff going on around here though.

Yeah on the first tooth!! My Dd didn't get her first tooth until she was 9 months old...and then she did get most of hers quickly after like you think will happen.
Dd did do some experimental biting, but she was always disciplined with a flick to the face and a stern NO! and it seemed to help. There was one time when she first got her tooth in where she was nursing, clamped down a bit and pulled off....OUCH! She drew blood then, but it was a scrape, not a bite. It's nice though, usually it's hard to tell that a baby has teeth when nursing. I can say that it's harder to unlatch them if they really want to stay on because the teeth give a better hold on the suction....LOL! Sometimes Dd doesn't want to unlatch so I have to dig my finger inbetween her teeth to get her off....kid has some serious suction. I have JUST recently started to feel her teeth when she nurses, but I think it's more that I only have colostrum, so she only does the pre-letdown sucking the whole time she nurses, and she can get her mouth pretty closed when she nurses and it's usually when she is falling asleep or is asleep. But like I said before, you really can't tell much of a difference.

I can't wait to see the pics!!
