Not TTC, but AF a no show

I had a tubal ligation done in Sept when I delivered my baby boy by CS. My cycles have been shorter, running about 22 or 23 days, but fairly regular since about November. I am now on CD 30 and AF is showing no signs of making her appearance....any ideas of what could be going on? If there is a better thread to be posting this question on, please feel free to redirect me.....

Well you could be pregnant. I had a friend that her dh got "fixed" after there first child, she got pregnant a second time. After that she got her tubes tide. And just last year she had her 3 child! So if I were you I would go get a pregnancy test. If it is negative then just wait and see if AF will come around. Is there any added stress that may be causing your homones to not be in order?

I had a tubal the end of Nov of 04 four weeks after having our dd. For the most part mine have been regular but when under alot of stress or not feeling well mine has tended to be a little late. Just wait around and see if AF shows up and if not welll.....congratulations might be in order....let us know

I am not testing because I just don't think that I can be pg. I do have alot of stress lately. ALOT. That's probably what it is.

Michelle it probably is stress related plus periods can be so irregular for months after childbirth.

Michelle how old is your little one? Have you noticed that since having your tubal that your period has been more painful? For the first 6 mths after having mine the cramps were unbearable. But then after that 6 mths they are not painful at all and I can actually tolerate them...
