Baisically I was wondering what things you have heard of that will help with conception. I myself take the cough syrup, I take my bbt, I use ovulite and after doing the BD I usea Instead cup.
What do you use or try? Do you eliminate or add anything to your diet? Excerise? Medical intervention? So let's hear it!

they say eating a modified atkins theory diet helps with ovulation if you tend toward PCOS...basically, don't do it hardcore, just make sure you protein with every snack and meal....keeps your blood sugar leveled out....
eliminate soda and drink more decaf green tea, supposed to help increase vaginal lubrication......
of course moderate and healthy exercise is always good too to keep your body in top notch shape and take a good multi-vitamin and add folic acid now each day.

I know that this really doesn't work for everyone BUT my husband and I have stuck to the every other day method. We had a "sex schedule" that was every other day. We got pregnant right away with my first daughter that way and then it only took a month with this pregnancy. I just try to exercise a lot and eat as healthy as I can as well!

I have to say that we used the instead cups and got pg with them. I can't remember if we used them to get pg with our DD who was our first sucessful pg, but we did get pg with our 2nd m/c baby. We also used Astroglide as a lubricant. Most people will tell you only preseed is ok to use, but 4 out of our 4 pgs were concieved using Astroglide!
I always laid around for a few minutes after BD just to let things sit...unless it was the times we used the instead cups. I never tilted my hips because in the case of a tilted uterus it can cause the semen to collect under your cervix...which doesn't help much! LOL I did end up having a tlited uterus so I was glad we didn't do that!
I think doing the every other day thing is wise also. Gives you a rest, which honestly, HAVING to BD can get so unromantic sometimes and it gives the spermies time to store up.
I also took my BBT and kind of watched for CM. I have PCOS and actually was starting the atkins when I got pg the first time right away, and was on Metformin when I got pg the 2nd and 3rd times. We were just touched by the hand of God without any human interference this time around. Guess he was giving us a break! :-D
I hope you get your BFP soon!

If you are charting your temps/CM, you can know almost exactly when you O and don't have to BD every other day for the whole cycle! I started charting two months ago and it's been amazing to see a clear O pattern and know which are the most important days to BD. In reality your fertile window is only 3-6 days max. I also got good results from the decaf green tea last cycle in increasing fertile CM. I'd recommend "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" if you haven't read it yet. We can do all these things, but of course God is in control of when/if we conceive. Praying He would grant you the child you long for in His perfect timing!
Blessings to you!

I layed on my back also to help things settle, (no tilting...tilted uterus also) and then during my fertal period we were on a schedual of every other day to bd, Besides that, just prayer and Grace. I was almost to the point of eating yams daily, but God had other plans. :D

We TTC for a little over 3 yrs. We got pregnant in August of 2006 only to loose that baby at 8 weeks. My progesterone levels had tested on the low side and by the time I got someone to supplement them it was too late. We've tried for another 3 months with no sucess. I finally tried the herb Vitex and read about a lot of diff. suggestions online. I took the tincture twice daily for a total of 60 drops/day, plus Traditional Medicinals Female Tonor Tea.
I was interested in the Conception Cap (http://www.conceptionkit.com/), and wanted to try it, but was too late to participate in the clinical trial and was not ready to spend that kind of $$. I found this site where people where actually using it and one girl said she'd tried something similar before with an Instead M. Cup (http://oochi.biz/instead/public/conception.php) (disposable) I thought this was novel. I usually ovulate at diff. times, and it is usually confusing to determine with CM. One morning I woke up, and had VERY diff. fertile signs. I looked at dh and told him he'd have to be late to work, 'cause I'm ready NOW. (sorry if this is TMI, but I really think it's essential to our sucess) He really couldn't miss his morning meeting, but promised to be home for an early lunch. I was completely shocked, because he's not the kind of guy to be accomodating. (Had to be God)
I highly suspected that I may be one of those woman who only ovulate for an couple hours, maybe even less. I got ready for him by grabbing an Instead cup, an applicator of PreSeed, pillows, and a book. When he came home, I used a full aplication of PreSeed (because it helps to create extra channels and time for spm to find egg) and put the Instead cup within arms reach for later. After we'd bedded, I propped up my hips (how old does that get!) and when he left I carefully inserted the Instead cup with the soft "cup" part extended upwards, against my cervix. In theory, this is supposd to keep everything "accessable" and close, even throughout the day. I laid there for well over an hour. I just felt REALLY hopeful about this time. At only 1 week, 3 days after the "O" I tested positive! I was soo shocked. I took 6 tests and all were positive- Again, and again! I am now 8 weeks pregant, and my Hcg levels are SO much higher than they were with my last failed pregnancy. As soon as I had a confirmed pregnancy through blood test, midwife put me on prometrium. I then stopped taking vitex. My progesterone levels are Great now, as are my Hcg levels! I just really hope this one is sticky! I really think we have the formula for next time if this doesn't work out!
Baby Dust (i.e. prayers!) to you all!!!
Keep the faith.

Usually, they say it takes 6 months or so for Vitex to reach effectivenes, but i've read countless stories of other people having sucess after only one month.
I should also say that when I got prego the first time, the only thing we'd changed was my eliminating caffine (completely) and using PreSeed (though we never could justify using it every month).

I also used the "cup" this month. So we'll see. If not next month I will buy some preseed. I don't usually have a lot of cm. So that may be part of the problem.
